    Acessing Alternate Universes

The problem is, there's no way anyone could ever prove it. These types of things will always be theory. Even if we do visit parallel universes, how would we ever know that's what it is instead of just a byproduct of our brains biochemistry reacting to a drug or whatever? Edit: Nevermind. I get...

    Another Protein Intake Thread

I think you're splitting hairs with the comparison of someone at 170 with 10% vs 15% bodyfat and their different protein numbers. I don't think most of us micromanage to that level. Just keep it simple and if you're 170, consume roughly 170 grams of protein per day. I don't even focus on how...

    Acessing Alternate Universes

This stuff is super interesting to me. I've been reading a good amount of books recently on quantum mechanics and other theoretical physics and I actually came across this theory in one of the books - that we can access other universes by altering our brains. Another theory is that when we...

    Another Protein Intake Thread

I stick to about 1g per pound and have been fine. Never saw a need personally to go any higher. Plus like others have said, this leaves more room for carbs and fats.

    NEED TO CUT FAT!

I agree with everyone here that said you should probably do a diet break. 2,000 calories at your weight seems awfully low. That's about what I'm currently eating on my cut and I'm 40 pounds lighter than you. Eat at maintenance for 10-14 days, maintain your workout schedule, and then start to...

    Are Dips The Best?

Dips are good yeah. For pressing, I actually feel dumbbells in my chest way more than the barbell. However, I'm partial to the barbell so I would never replace it (just me personally). If you want your chest to grow (or any muscle for that matter), I'd recommend hitting it twice per week. Maybe...

    Intraworkout that worked for you?

Caffeine pre-workout and highly branched cyclic dextrins, electrolytes, BCAAs during. I use Glycofuse for the cyclic dextrins and Modern BCAA by USP Labs, which is a BCAA/Electrolyte mix. There's other stuff you can add in too like everything The Solution recommended, but the 3 above are a good...

No problem. Hope it helps someone in a similar position to give it a try.

    Target A2 (rauwolscine) dosage tips

I know you posted this a little over a month ago, but I just saw it and figured I'd jump in since I was initially worried about the same thing. I have a history of anxiety issues too and was kinda worried about taking Target A2 since I've heard it can set it off, but it actually hasn't bothered...

Anybody on here do web design/digital magazine design?

Small world. I'm a marketer/SEO guy as well. You work for a company or run your own business? To OP: Send me a PM and let me know what you're looking for. I should be able to help you if you haven't found anyone yet.

    Pistol gets shredded 2015

I hear ya man. Wasn't tryin to get under your skin or anything. The progress you have made is awesome - going from 135 to 180 is a nice accomplishment. So then back to the cutting topic, I'd cut fats first, not carbs. Especially since you're running 5/3/1, which is a hard enough program even...

    Pistol gets shredded 2015

Your cals seem kinda high for your current size. Especially the fats. Now I'm just speculating because I don't know your metabolism and what activity you do outside the gym, but for comparison, I currently weigh around 192ish (started my cut at 210) and my cals are a good deal lower than yours...

    Are hard boiled eggs unhealthy?

You do not have to "watch out for the cholesterol" in eggs, or any food for that matter. Like Whacked said, this has been debunked numerous times. For starters: Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed...

    Ab exercises / Routine suggestions

The "inverted crunches" (can't think of what they are actually called) are a lot harder than hanging leg raises. It requires a ton of core strength to hold your body parallel to the ground from a pull-up bar. Most people would start with hanging leg raises and slowly progress to the more...

    The Official Smoothie Recipe Thread

Best bet is to make your own. The store brands are most likely highly processed, defeating the point of eating them. I've never made them myself but I think it's pretty simple - just bake them in the oven and add some seasoning. Much cheaper to make your own too.

    Ab exercises / Routine suggestions

The ab wheel is probably my favorite ab exercise. I also like hanging leg raises and hanging crunches where you pull yourself to be almost parallel to the ground. This one's kinda hard to explain but think of basically an inverted row position where you're hanging from the pull-up bar and then...

Yeah kale chips are pretty good too. I forgot about those. I should make them more often.

Thanks Dan :) Have you had a chance to try any of them out yet? Ha same here. It's the only way I will consume kale.

Who's cutting and how's it going?

3 pounds really isn't enough to justify dropping calories further. I wouldn't guess that the mere 3 pounds of fat loss would put you all of a sudden at near maintenance where you're barely dropping weight anymore. Like John said, fat loss is never linear. Some weeks will be more than others and...

    The Official Smoothie Recipe Thread

^^ This. The difference with and without a banana is pretty noticeable. The banana gives it an actual smoothie consistency and great flavor; otherwise you're just drinking a protein shake basically.
