I've understood that all grains contain antinutrients that should be neutralized by cooking. Also, you get more energy from them if you cook them. Has anyone else read about this?
Another way to eat them in liquid is to make a vegetable stock. The nutrients (the ones that aren't destroyed in the cooking process) go into the liquid and it's a good base for a soup with meat and vegetables.
I don't think you can replace any real food with supplements. A good way to consume a lot of vegetable nutrients is to juice them. You won't get as much fiber but it's a lot easier to drink a big bunch of veggies than chew them. And maby then supplement with psyllium fiber.
Peanut butters may contain traces of soy and gluten and some people may be intolerant to those. Food intolerances are also very common because people eat the same stuff year after year and their gut health is generally bad. Also, peanuts contain a mold that is a known carcinogen. Don't know if...
I cycle between 2 meals and 4 meals depending on my schedule. Also, sometimes I feel like I can't shovel down all that food in two sittings. But sometimes it feels nice to not eat during the day and then eat a huge meal or two in the evening.
