I keep hurting my shoulder on flat bench presses

I think you need a form check. A strong arch with your shoulder blades pinched together really takes the shoulders out of the equation quite a bit. If you do a flat-backed "bodybuilding" bench press it definitely will tear up your shoulders though. Unfortunately, incline tears my shoulders up...

    shoulders are rolled/tilted forward.

Great thread. Been very helpful. I'm getting PT for this issue right now, which has caused repeated supraspinatus problems. o_0

I've been in interventional radiology procedures for the explicit purpose of retrieving needles. lol

You down with NPP? Yea you know me! Test e/test p/NPP/mast log

Oh, I wasn't commenting on your physique or progress in any way really. You've obviously made great gains. I was responding to something else entirely. It's just that based on some comments people seemed very suprised by the size you had at 5'9 180lbs. I don't think many people realize how much...

You down with NPP? Yea you know me! Test e/test p/NPP/mast log

He's got great size, but he's really not a hyuuuge 170er. Most people just have more bodyfat than they realize. And, that body fat is often visceral giving them the appearance of a lean abdomen, so their perspective is skewed. lol. When people lean out it's surprising how muscular you can still...

1st Test E Cycle (gyno prone)

If you've been lifting two years and are at 6'1 220lbs 11-12% BF without taking anything you should consider a career in professional bodybuilding. Arnold, at 6'2", would hit the stage 225-235lbs and his on-stage bodyfat was nowhere near the guys of today. Probably 6-8%. o_0

Article: Protein Every 3 Hours Is Optimal

^ Another great read on the topic of protein is Lyle McDonald's "The Protein Book". I'd definitely recommend it.

    headaches?

Well, you look great for your age. Having said that, it's been reported that high protein diet alone can raise serum creatinine as high as 30%. Then put your size on top of all of that (high muscle mass creates a higher serum creatinine), and it's likely your GFR is completely normal. I ran...

    headaches?

Are you really 59? How much meat do you eat daily? Is a lot of it red meat? Has the Cr. changed in recent years? If so, have you also become considerably more muscular?

Article: Protein Every 3 Hours Is Optimal

Oh, yes, the poor helpless government officials had no choice but to give in to these interests. o_0 It's true there is a disgusting relationship between several select ultra corporations and many (most) government officials, but you assume that the responsibility is all on one side and that's...

    Douchebags at the gym...

Tell them that you have figured out what they're training goals are, and you'd recommend they implement a strict regimen of daily kegels to their squatting routine. Their performance henceforth will be greatly improved.

    headaches?

Thanks :) Okay, now the good news is that creatinine you're looking at is probably elevated for a number of reasons not relating to your renal function and is more concerning to you than it should be because (a) if you're suppelementing creatine, it raises creatinine in a clinically...

test cyp IM with insulin syringe

I couldn't imagine using anything smaller than a 25 gauge. It would just be soooo slooooww. If you're doing 0.5 CC for TRT, just get a 23 or 25g and learn to hit the ventrogluteal site. It's so easy it's ludicrous. Also get something at least 1-1.5" IMO. That way you can leave a little bit of...

    headaches?

I'm a newly graduated MD, so this is something I'm very familiar with (at least when compared to the general population). Just out of curiosity, since now you're in damage control mode, do you have a specialist working with you for your hypertension? Did they ever discover the etiology? There...

Article: Protein Every 3 Hours Is Optimal

I don't doubt it one bit. I don't actually consider the source so much (unless they have either egregious or stellar reputations). In addition to reading critically, I try to ask myself what the benefit of pushing certain outcomes would be.

Wait, so fat guy trolled you out of your station and you had to wait around for him to finish? XD I'm sorry, but this is too funny.

    Douchebags at the gym...

When I see young skinny kids doing stupid stuff, it really doesn't bug me. I just think they don't know any better and let them get on about their business. They're usually the only ones I see curling in the squat rack. It's annoying, but I give them newbie slack. I've only seen 4 d-bags that...

Help with making a split for my next "creatine" cycle

If you like a half body split, I personally think the easiest way is just to look at how DoggCrapp split up his bodyparts. You don't need to follow his rep and stretch guidelines per se, but the split is conveniently laid out for you.

    headaches?

Usually we'd see a smaller pulse pressure (difference between systolic and diastolic), but his isn't alarming and I've seen pulse pressures that wide quite frequently in otherwise healthy people. Lots of factors could have gone into it. I don't recall the specific cutoff for wide pulse...

Article: Protein Every 3 Hours Is Optimal

Many, many studies are paid for by major corporate interests and performed at universities. I for one trust private corporations more than government, and they're the other major source of funds. You just have to pick your poison. Fact of life. Read critically, but don't ignore relevant knowledge.
