Great knife. Cold Steel makes some very good products. I have a few of their products. My EDC (every day carry) knife right now is a SOG Trident. I absolutely love this thing. It's light, very sharp, and holds an excellent edge: Invalid Link Removed Check out this new great sword that Cold...

Oops, my bad. It's the Governor that will fire the .45 ACP as well. That just gives it a leg up then!

Check out the Taurus "Judge" or the Smith and Wesson "Governor." They will fire .45 ACP, .45 Long Colt, and .410 (2.5-3') shotgun shells. It's nice to have options. :D They make a shotgun attachment for the M4 platform, but it really just adds to being cumbersome over effective.

A few more pics of projects in progress: I've added the belt clip, new northwood custom trigger, and crimson trace laser to my PF9. I absolutely love how it came out and now it's officially ready when/if I ever need to call upon it. The trigger was an absolute bitch changing out. Kel Tec uses...

Surefire makes a great light, but they are WAY overpriced, imo. You can find many other lights that are of equal quality for half the price easily. Check out the streamlight options, Tim. They make a great weapons light at a good price. -T1

    The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

I wish my wife loved to shoot, but it's been a work in progress. Slowly over the years I think I'm starting to wear away on her. :D I have all the paperwork filled out I just need to send it in. You're right, it will definitely pay off in the end. I love my Mil Surp guns as much as all the new...

Just for comparison sake, here's the difference between the Russian 7.62x54R on the left vs. the German 7.92x57 (or 8MM) on the right. Throw the .30-06 that we used and the British .303 in there and they were throwing some serious copper-coated candy down range during WW2: Invalid Link Removed

    The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

Here's a few of my Mil Surp collection: This first is my absolute favorite gun to shoot hands down. It's my 1944 Tula Mosin Nagant Sniper Rifle. Everything on this gun is matching including the original PU scope. It is an absolute joy shooting this thing. If any of you have seen the movie...

    Gun and ammo deal sites?

Yeah, they're all pretty small down here; plenty of massive hogs though. We had some monsters up in new England, but I'm not headed back up there anytime soon. I had a hog try to charge me and my buddy last year. The Glock 21 won that battle, though. I always used to think guys were paranoid...

    Gun and ammo deal sites?

Indeed my man. :) My Mosin took down a 150 lb hog here earlier this year. I haven't hunted deer yet, but that's next. There's nothing like literally getting a 30-06 for $100 with the Mosin, haha! The family is great. My daughter reminds me daily that I'm not 20 anymore. I love every minute of it.

    Gun and ammo deal sites?

They usually have good deals on the russian ammo. I've bought quite a few cases of Tulammo 7.62x39 over the years. I've found SGammo.com to have better bulk/shipping deals lately. A nagant revolver? Nice little piece. :D I've loaded up with ammo for my mosin nagant 7.62x54R collection; 880...

    Gun and ammo deal sites?

They used to be great, but over the last 6 months their shipping fees have become absolutely ridiculous. -T1

    Gun and ammo deal sites?

I do most of my online purchases at either Botachtactical.com or SGammo.com. Botach is based out of Cali I believe and even eats the state tax for their residents. Plus, you can't beat free shipping. As far as ammo goes, SGammo.com has some awesome deals and shipping rates are very reasonable...

Thanks, mang. WASR 10 and 10/63 are basically romanian AK-47's. They were originally built to comply with the ban (only 10 round magazines), but then modified to accept 30 round magazines once imported here; as well as the mandatory 922r compliance parts. Some will say they're cheaper end, but...

Here's a few of my toys and future projects. I figured I'd take some pics while I rearranged the gun safe. Here's my Smith and Wesson M&P 15. This is for the most part a finished project. I put a lot of money into this gun, but I'm very pleased with the outcome: Invalid Link Removed This is...

That would work. Are you going with a ghost ring sight or an optic? Here's the light I'll be putting on mine here in the next few weeks. The Streamlight TLR-1s. I have the smaller version on my glock 21. It's 200 lumens of direct beam or strobe: Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed
