    Good looking pup! Prey drive/instinct is tough to overcome. No amount of training will get rid of it. Worst part is, you have to see it once to know what 'triggers' it in your dog.

    I love that show! It's funny as hell because its the OWNERS that need the training, not the dogs! 10 minutes with a skilled handler and they are functional dogs that respond. You watch some of the people and its absolutely no wonder why the dogs act the way they do.

    Presa Canario's are good too! Make sure you check local ordinances before getting anything though. Here in Denver Pit's are illegal, so is anything that 'looks' like a pit (yeah, I know BS law), but in the next town over, presa's, cane corso's and a few others are not allowed.

    Self defense actually ~can~ be illegal. It's not the ones that you command to attack. Some of these dogs have extremely high 'prey drive' and something as innocuous as little kids skipping or playing can set it off. I've seen it myself with my GSD. Perfectly fine around everyone...
