    Let's give this another go.

I've been gone from here for a while due to my profession. I have time to come back and start logging again. I should be more faithful now than I have over the past year+. Quick back-brief... I've been in an army training program since June of 2014 and it hasn't done a whole lot to help my...

So, I spent the last 9 months learning stuff (medical). Got to do some cool things, including surgical procedures. The medical training I went through started with 72 dudes; only 8 of us passed first time through without having to recycle a block and fall behind a few weeks. Went through divorce...

    Vitamin D3 Dosing

A single 50,000iu gel cap weekly is standard dosing for individuals who are deficient. If you're spending at least an hour a day in the sun, there really isn't a reason for vitamin D supplementation.

RIP Steve. Though I don't much believe in the afterlife or any of that stuff, there are a few words I'd like to pass your way. I want to say thank you for the opportunities and knowledge that you handed me on a silver platter. You were instrumental in me once again finding me and overall...

This dude helped me change the mess I had allowed myself to become, he employed me doing something that I didn't know I'd love and he taught me a lot about things I didn't know I wanted to learn. Although he was at odds with quite a few people, he did his best, in his own way, to help people...

Don't know if anyone is still following but I'm gonna try to pick up where I left off. I'm in training right now to become a special forces medic. Montego's quest for HW Status

Oral glucose, problem solved. Hypoglycemia is remedied by fast-acting carbohydrates. Oral glucose comes in gel tubes and is cheap. Insulin doesn't seem all that scary to me until I consider screwing up my pancreas.

Article: Eating For Exercise: The 5 Worst Ways to Fuel Up Pre-Workout

Up to four hours to digest a fatty meal? Is that really how the digestive tract works or is it much more complex than that, and complete "digestion" takes as long as 24 hours? Furthermore, the sympathetic nervous system overrides the digestive system in periods of high exertion, pushing...
