    New smut log😮

my wife and I kinda sank into a groove where she does the lions share of the meal prep on Sundays (I am usually cooking meat/grilling while she's prepping breakfasts and lunches) so if something pops up during the week and I miss a meal I feel sorta obliged to either make it a meal for dinner...

Would nass effect normal height growth during puberty?

puberty is like the most intensense natural anabolic cycle we get to go through. just eat and lift and enjoy God's injection of ever increasing T with infinite recovery for a while.

    Hyde’s Strength Odyssey

its sorta funny how opposite our elbows are (usually same side) yours has dramatically more trauma but when mine is acting up it wants to be fully straightened out and weight on it almost helps. those are the days I need to use a little progressive rom to BEND it, lol.

    Weights up, scales down…

yeah dude those are good front squats. Still one of my favorite lifts. not sure why, but I actually enjoy the front squat a bit more than the back squat even though its 100lbs lighter for me typically. (ish)

    Slicin' and Dicin'

Today it was sorta funny, I woke up feeling pretty good with no aches or pains, which is incredibly unusual. feet feel good, knees feel good. I think this mon/tues (rest weds) thurs/fri routine has been pretty good to me for hard work and that mid week recovery. Just pressing today so the real...

Things were really different only 5-6 years ago. When my wife and I got married and bought a boat together in 2020 I was feeling good about it with gas being under $2/gallon and moorage being about $200/month for a nice covered slip. I think we sold the boat last summer?? or summer before. I...

    Slicin' and Dicin'

its so hard to say. our deck was about 25+ years old and every year I was spending money to repair it, replace rotted planks etc and we finally decided to just man up and replace the whole thing cause joists etc were going. I think it was about $30k all said and done and we jumped on it cause...

    Slicin' and Dicin'

Yeah thats all true. I'd love to lift in the morning but I try to get to the office by 6am and getting up at 3:30 to make it to the gym in time to shower before work isn't going to happen. plus the local gyms don't open until 5am so again, time constraints. If it were at home though, I could see...

GP’s Old Man With A Plan Log

That sounds like a phenomenally good approach, polar opposite from the mistakes of my youth (less weight, higher volume, and probably equal to, or greater overall tonnage moved, lol). It also fits a "I'm not doing jackshit" type of mentality, the idea of going in to hit a heavier (not heavy...

KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

a thought I have and the reason I don't use my trainers for deadlifts is that even if my ankles are safe and the added height doesn't hurt my pulls, I'm putting my body weight + the bar into the weight of my shoes and potentially trashing them faster. last night after squats I had to throw my...

    New smut log😮

Not much feels better on a sunday night than when you got 10 tupperware containers (well, glass now days) with 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches, plus another one of hardboiled eggs, and a side of your snacks, fruits etc all measured out and stacked up in the fridge ready to hit monday right.

    Slicin' and Dicin'

LOL I am the same point. I tend to be very OCD about putting everything away but there is a subconcious 3 strike rule I think, not even intentionally, but if enough things are haphazardly toss around and laying about I'm likely to just add to the pile. Of course in a real gym, everyone knows...

GP’s Old Man With A Plan Log

yeah I don't know about you but week 1 has been a harder week for me. the deload has to be enough work to keep the conditioning but low enough to recover. Week 2 has been probably my best week, strength and conditioning coming in hot but the RX weight still moderate. Your goals at 260 and 275...

    Slicin' and Dicin'

LOL yeah my wife said something similar last night when I told her. I was taught you always respect the platform and the barbell. meaning you don't drop a barbell or abuse a barbell, you treat it like your most important tool, and you don't EVER walk on someone elses platform, you give them...

    Segansational's Motivation Log

deloading before its too late leaves you hungry for that day back. deloading too late crushes your cns, and your spirit, and makes the return to hard work so much more difficult. I did that for a decade. so I know it well, lol.

    Weights up, scales down…

We are only getting 8-12 eggs a day at the moment but I think we have 6 more layers approaching maturity plus 6 bresse that I keep isolated cause I want nature to hatch its own chicks there for next years meat birds. But when my wife first got into sourdough I was on a loaf a day habit nearly...
