    Pride 34

Arona does have a ****load of potential. If you watch the Arona/Emelianenko fight honestly by non-rings scoring he probably should have won that fight. He's so undisciplined and hotheaded though it will never amount to anything. He needs to get away from BTT and go train with some good...

I'm really bored: Tito vs. Dana March 24th

I can't stand Dana, but he's certainly good for MMA. What we need is for him to survive the boxing match with Tito, then for someone to create a Dana White Robot (with a mute button). Once that is complete he needs to get in the ring with CroCop and be the first "death or serious injury in MMA"

    Pride cancels April US show

Knees on the ground are great from an action standpoint. As it stands now with pride rules the only place a fight can really be tied up on the ground is in guard. Under UFC rules the fight gets tied up on the ground pretty much everywhere but full mount and sometimes back control, depending on...

    UFC 68 Picks Contest!

Randy certainly put together a nice arsenal with the bobbing, slipping and looping overhand punches. Randy took a serious boxing clinic to prepare for this fight, it looks like he studied james toney's style. Since the current trend in MMA is towards strong boxing based stand-up technique...

I have to say, randy looked awesome.

    America OWNS MMA!!!!!!

Yeah, what a surprising event. Certainly not what the pride matchmakers were expecting I'd wager :D Wandy looks broken... You could see it in his face during the stare down, and during the fight he was so tentative. I think the Crocop fight messed with him. Dan Henderson did look well...

Any one going to the Fitness expo In SO Cal.

Haha, most definitely! It's a pretty useless position if you can't rain knees down though.

I don't know man, are beauty pageants a sport?

It's amazing how exposure to an actual sport will do that to ya, huh?

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

Fedor just has no more motivation... He's beaten everyone. We may never see the old Fedor again unless someone really talented emerges to challenge him.

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

I hope there's a rematch. Mirko was intimidated by Fedor in their last fight, if he could pull himself together more he would have a good chance.

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

I'm glad he has a better side. Hopefully next time we hear from him he won't be talked into hiding it.

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

Honestly, I've seen a lot of fighters come into a fight saying "I respect him, I'm a good fighter, I'm going to let my skills do the talking for me in the ring" and I think that is 100% the right way to handle an interview.

    Kid In MMA

Personally, I think there are better ways to learn humility, honor, discipline, etc than martial arts... You wouldn't get a job in construction to get in shape, would you? It'll do that to some extent but really it's more suited to learning how to build ****.

    Kid In MMA

I think a lot of parents these days are overly controlling. Let the kid do it if he wants to, just provide guidance to correct against the influence of the more unseemly elements there.

    Pride 33 Card

There are a few solid fights on there, but there isn't anything that makes me squirm in anticipation. Wand/Hendo is going to be entirely predictable. Hendo is going to get punished on his feet, he'll take the fight to the ground, Wand will tie him up for a ref breakup or manage to stand back...

    UFC 67 Post-Fight Discussion

The two fight totally differently though. Machida plays a very unconventional game where he runs away a lot, tries to get opponents to overcommit themselves then he capitalizes, whereas chuck is a slow and steady counterpuncher who tends to stand and brawl.

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

Vera vs Liddell would be an AWESOME fight. Too bad given his contract status Dana would NEVER sign off on it.

Crocop has bigger balls than I thought

I like vera, he's a good fighter with an entertaining style. It would make for a fun to watch fight, though he doesn't have what it takes to deal with mirko, and a loss would poison his salary negotiation position. From Dana's standpoint it's probably an excellent match up for him in all...

    UFC 67 Post-Fight Discussion

Machida has a very unconventional style, looks like he'd be the type of guy that wouldn't be very much fun to fight, mostly just annoying.
