    Rampage vs. Hendo

This is gonna be a great fight. I think if both fighters show up this fight leans towards Rampage, though it's going to be a war. Hendo has a lot of credit for the Wand KO, however Rampage's wrestling skills are good enough to spend the majority of the night on his feet, and he's got better...

    UFC has acquired Wandy.

White's been quoted as saying pride would become a lower level organization (think WEC), he wants the UFC to be the "big show" which everything else feeds into. Most of pride's marketable or high level talent will end up over here. White is trying to make the UFC more of a "global"...

    The Controversial Decisions Thread

Good luck tapping fedor, I don't care who you are :D In the end, arona controlled that fight and fedor was on the defensive the whole time... Of course, that wouldn't go the same way again, even if I think style wise arona is a bad matchup for fedor, the overall skill difference is too large.

    Chuck or Rampage?

Rampage is the underdog but I think he'll show up for this fight and take it.

    Mayweather vs. De La Hoya

This was probably the most hyped fight in the history of boxing, and it certainly turned out to be fairly well matched. Unfortunately, this is a perfect example of why boxing is losing ground to MMA. The fight was somewhat indecisive, though Floyd was the better boxer and had more gas, Oscar...

Elbows : Good or Bad for MMA?

Those factors all depend on how they're constructed. The softening of the blows is an issue, I'd rather fights end quickly than be long, grinding affairs, but cuts are the worst possible way for a fight to end.

Elbows : Good or Bad for MMA?

I think they should just add some sort of elbow covering to reduce the incidence of cuts. I like the technical aspect elbows bring to the game though... They're a new tool to use, but they're perfectly defendable, if you know how to control distance with your hips in the guard.

    Here is my vid

Good try bro. You should really drill the hell out of the switch and rear leg kicks, get really good at them. Do you practice up kicks with the pads and defending the open guard from the ground vs a standing opponent? There are a few nice sweeps from there that you could add to your repertoire.

Upsets: Good or Bad for the Sport?

The wave of upsets is due to the fact that unlike boxing, where it can tip the balance of moderately well matched fights, in MMA your gameplan and fight strategy make a HUGE difference. I really don't think that in the case of these upsets, the favorite was doing his research and really...
