I have been reading up on this for a bit and thought I'd ask some of you for advice. I've never run a cycle before, only natural testbooster. I've heard KT is a very light cycle and doesn't need much support but I still want to run a pct just to be safe. Someone said Erase pro and Dpol for a pct...
I figured anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes would be okay to with HIIT but I just didn't know if after, say a back/bi or shoulder workout, it would hurt what I just did with heavy weights. HIIT on rowing is great and it kicks your butt though. Thanks for the reply.
Recently I've been reading about the benefits of doing HIIT on a rowing machine. Ex. 3 minute warmup and then 1 min on and 1 off of full out rowing for a total of about 12-15 minutes. My only concern is will such a workout negatively affect my weight routine and muscle gains? I'll admit, it's a...
Yeah that was my concern, it being such a small muscle group. You make a valid point though and really prgressing on everything else (like I am) is what matters. Now, it's time to eat!
Okay cool. I appreciate the heads up. I have to let this muscle pull heal anyways before I do anything so I won't be back in there for a good two weeks probably. I needed to give my body a rest and I didn't listen to it and reaped the benefits. Oh well!
Yeah I totally understand where you're coming from. By no means would I completely cut out direct bicep work because after all, it's my favorite to work. I just need not go past the point of no return in my mind. That point where I'm good and pumped and I go beyond that. Sometimes if I do more...
You're right on that one. I started today with the 4k diet so I'll see how that goes. Went to the doctor yesterday and he weighed me at 180 on what he says is the most accurate scale he's used. I double checked at work (a hospital) and I weighed the same. I'm going up just very slowly, just not...
I have good arms proportional to my body size. It's always been hard for me to gain period though. I just realized after a good while of eating 3500 cals a day, that it isn't cutting it anymore. Gotta push for 4k a day now. The only muscle that seems to just grow and grow on me are my triceps...
That seems to be the consensus around here is less direct training. I think I'm going to still work them directly, just take down the volume of training until I get a good pump and let it be. I know they get a ton of work from my back training, so just a little direct work on a different day...
Yeah I'm the same way. I only get headaches if I'm stupid and wait too long to eat something, so they aren't the norm for me. I did the same thing though. I waited about 5 minutes and went back to my routine. I didn't press anymore the entire time I was there but I did mainly flies and all of my...
Yeah I went to my primary yesterday and got it checked out. He did a bunch of stuff and told me he doesn't see any serious signs that would require an MRI or CT so that's a good sign. I pulled a muscle in my rhomboid somehow, so there's a lot of tension on that muscle. He seemed to think it was...
I'll give that a shot. Having a fresh start for biceps so I can give it everything I got. I'm fatigued after back, so I know I'm not giving it everything towards the end of my routine.
You make a good point. So did you always to tris and bis on the same day or whatever you felt like pairing them with, as long as they exclusively got worked out? The chest and bi day didn't really beneifit me in any way, so that's no option.
I think I need to go with this concept right here. It gets to the point where I feel a good pump and they're worked pretty good, but if I keep going (just to finish the routine) it feels like the pump and amount of work I've done has diminished, if that makes an sense at all. Almost like there's...
Yeah I bought two bottles so I plan on running 8 weeks. I know the doc is going to tell me to ttake it easy for probably a week or two. Hopefully just a week. I'll cut it off though while I'm resting if that's the best thing to do.
This might be a stupid question. Maybe not. Wednesday at the gym I was benching a DB weight I'm used to. At the end of the set I had a killer headache out of nowhere, which is what everyone who lifts calls an exertion headache. I'm going to the doctor today to myself checked out to make sure I...
Yeah I gotcha. No, the pump from my pre isn't an issue because it's not a huge pump. I've just mostly been concerned with the amount of work the bicep is getting but I suppose it's not as bad as I think. I look at some other guys routines and think to myself, there's no way you can grow by doing...
