Try the HCG diet... eerrrckkkkkkk. A physician in my hometown is actually prescribing HCG to females in the area. I remember talking about this as a fad diet in A&P last year. Wasn't the original study done on starving, pregnant Indian ladies? Oh and my sister's friend got it prescribed and...
I was having this drunk conversation with my boys the other night and being that you are a bunch of hedonistic, primal, brawny men, which girls are the freakiest in the sheets in your opinion (with celebrity examples)
I've come to learn the girls you think would be the freakiest are sometimes...
When I incorporate weights, I try to live by two principles: Power or conditioning. You start getting in bodybuilding rep range you'll feel the fatigue when you roll, but especially when you work standup. Also, the pump you get from lifitng isn't necessarily inductive to success in an actual...
You just have to go with what works for you and what your body allows, but I've been training for 8 years (negligible for many people on this forum) and already have repetitive stress injuries in my joints. I've started to focus on things like increasing TUT, centering more work around atypical...
This is true, alcohol's effects on testosterone may be minimal, but that statement undermines all of the other potential muscle-inhibiting properties it holds. Slowing down metabolism, dehydration, acetaldehyde, exacerbation of any residual depression you're feeling, poorer sleep/inability to...
My rule of thumb, is if you take it and you don't feel better, look better, or perform better, and it isn't Omega 3's, it's probably useless, if not for everyone than just for you. People utilize muuuch too many staple supplements in my opinion.
This is something I found interesting:Invalid Link Removed I can say I used to take 3-5 grams in the morning, 3-5 preworkout and 3-5 postworkout... can't say I felt any difference in recovery or even immune system. I used to get sick all of the time, started the Caveman diet, everyone's sick...
From what it sounds like you have to MASS quantities of Vit D for it to be harmful. I always take a lot during the winter, and I have felt better in the gym, in my head, in the bed, whereas usually in winter life blows. I think I was meant to live in the sun, and who knows when you'll get that...
"He must become greater, I must become less." John 3:30
"and call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:15
All my friends always hate on Jersey Shore and The Situation. I think these people are hilarious, and by now actually realize everyone's laughing AT them not with them. Not to mention The Situation grossed like 5 million in 2010... I think he's the one laughing.
I'd do a pretty extensive, light cardio warm-up and see how you feel. I always feel if I do a little cardio my chest colds clear out more quickly, as well as get some of that crap outta my lungs even when it burns like hell. Also, using some NAC could speed things up as well.
If the cardio...
I'm not as sold on the importance of weight training.. but either Overeem is on year-round or both him and his brother have freaky genetics. His face and jaw looks three times than when he was at 205 which obviously means he was very drawn out at that weight. Not to mention natural progression...
A person could save a lot of money with a free profile on AM and a notebook of questions he wants answered by people who legitimately care about their goals, not someone reinforcing groupthink and stereotypes.
they're creating stereotypes and breeding ignorance.. everyone who knows nothing of fitness and bodybuilding reads that.. says to themselves "i'm not big and I don't like to work hard, that makes me feel good about myself" and then will never see results. Everyone is entitled to fitness goals or...
