  1. College vs Trade School or nothing at all....

I wouldn't even say college is always better. Like I said it depends on a handful of variables. The idea of college for all sounds good but isn't always the ideal option. Sending a kid who cannot read and write critically with little direction is just going to create a drop out with debt.
  2. College vs Trade School or nothing at all....

Another thing we forget is that we live pretty long lives and career changes happen, so leaning a trade doesn't lock someone into that career for life, they could certainly peruse a traditional college degree once they've made some money in the trade.
  3. College vs Trade School or nothing at all....

Unsure on why you think this is uncalled for or rude. I was simply answering his question with my personal opinion on when I feel trade school is a the correct option.
  4. College vs Trade School or nothing at all....

If its a kid just headed for a low end food service job or something similar that doesn't provide a living wage then hell yeah trade school is a good option.
  5. College vs Trade School or nothing at all....

Totally depends on the individual and his or her skills, aspirations, intellect, family background. He can't paint with broad brush strokes on this topic.

  7. Douchebags at the gym...

When I the gf comes with my to the gym it's usually to squat heavy, not make out.
  8. Toro Moving West(side)

I wish I had access to a football bar. I do all my db pressing with a neutral grip to mimmick a football bar. That neck injury sounds brutal. Doesn't make sense to go super low on accessory work. Single leg work is brutal. I try to do a few sets of reverse lunges just with body weight each lower...
  9. Toro Moving West(side)

I've been doing those Russian leg curls, had always called them ghetto GHR. I'm prob going to add barbell hip thrusts which look ridiculous but seem highly effective for hip development. I also think I'm going to buy a set of bands and possibly make a board press. Conjugate has been getting me...

  11. Toro Moving West(side)

  12. Toro Moving West(side)

Great log, nice to see some talk here about training and hard lifting, not just young 20 something's asking about oral steroids. West side will make a beast out of a lifter.

  16. Intermediate 4 Day Split for Strength

I would start your "intensity" day with speed work first, speed work primes your nervous system to handle heavier weights later in the workout. Otherwise looks solid.
  17. PHAT + Deadlift

What he said. Even west side conjugate method will have you box squat or dead as the max effort that day, not use max effort squat and dead. You gotta leave some in the tank and be patient. Years under the bar will get you up there. In the scope of a lifetime with the iron one week is nothing.
  18. Diary Of A Madman On SD

Keep in mind the stronger you get on barbell bench the move weight you'll be able to move I. Hypertrohy work. I did straight power lifting for over a year and now that I'm doing higher rep work I'm getting huge because of the weights I can handle now.
  19. Chicks on anavar, clen and wanting to do win!

Was hoping this thread would have more female steroid talk, I find that stuff to be fascinating.
  20. Diary Of A Madman On SD

The classic elbows flared, back flat, focus on pecs bench style of bodybuilders will destroy your shoulders, especially as you get up in appreciable weight. Bench is great for all out power pressing, isolate chest with DBS and hammer machines.
