Agree on this ! If you dont do carbs pre-workout then you can do the protein shake and healthy fats such as natural peanut butter, so your body uses that for energy.
There are a bunch of band exercises that he can do to help strengthen the shoulder and there are some where no weight or resistance is needed. I have had my fair share of shoulder problems and had to do a bunch of therapy work. I would post the link to a bunch but im not able to post the link...
I have used canned chicken if i was in a hurry or on the go and didnt have time to cook something to pack. Like you said it is high in sodium, but good back up plan.
Yup i have the same problem due to a shoulder injury. Like hossjob said throw in a couple more sets for the smaller arm or just add it in on another day until you feel you have balanced them out.
Yes you have the right idea. Use different rep ranges, weight, tempos and exercises to completely keep your muscles guessing. Make sure your diet is on key and hiit training is great for fat burning. Doing good man ! Be consistent
