    Carbless postworkout

It is quite wrong to say that you will lose muscle if you don't have carbs post workout. Quite wrong indeed. I'm not bashing carbs, but let's not make such crazy and un-scientific statements as that.

    Calorie Cycling... thoughts?

My sister has two kids, so I know how much work that entails. I don't know how I'd do it tbh. There isn't really a set bf% where you will see your abs... it differs for everyone. My uppers show quite easily, but my lowers are just terrible. That's common though. All you can do is keep chipping...

    Calorie Cycling... thoughts?

I have done a bit of carb cycling in the past, and currently follow a kind of hybridised CKD/TKD approach, high fat during the week (with Karbloyn intra workout), and then one high carb day at the weekend. It's worked very well for recomping, have definitely leaned out some, but seem to have...

    Calorie Cycling... thoughts?

Any efficacy to it, either for weight loss or bulking? I've read some conflicting advice, some people say it's a great way to keep the body guessing and to support an increase in metabolic capacity... is there any truth to that, or is calorie deficit/excess the only thing that really matters...

    Low Fat or Low Carb?

As mentioned, it's personal and by and large doesn't matter... I do find myself though, that with a higher fat diet, I find it much easier to eat at a deficit due to the satiety of fat vs carbs. Plus from a health perspective, I would never advocate low fat for very long anyway. A weekly carb up...

    The Anabolic Diet

Not sure why it would say to stay away from MCT's?? They're great. I've had good success myself following a high fat protocol, with weekly carb ups... at least in terms of recomping. I've been doing this since mid-Feb and my weight hasn't changed (75kg/165lb), but I've been at maintenance...

6 weeks cut progress. How much longer until 10%?

Although it's hard to tell, if pushed I would say you are slightly leaner in the second pic... but it's hardly night and day as mentioned, due to the lighting, hair etc. You've certainly done well coming from the 223 pic though. TBH though, in 6-weeks, if your routine and especially diet is on...

    Carbs necessary to burn fat?

Yes, and I've also noticed they're skinny ass mofos with no muscle, and based upon Invalid Link Removed, low testostoerone too. No thanks. Bad example. WOW, do you realise you just solved the obesity epidemic with your study? Nobel Prize coming your way! Bad example. Because THIS is the...

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

This is confirmed... I contacted them and they informed me it is standardised to 10%, and I said they should update their website with this information.

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I saw that too, from Bulk Powders, who are certainly a reputable company. I wonder how it compares to the gels. I'm assuming it would have the same effect? Can't see why not. It's a good price for sure, compared to the alternatives.

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

Here's what confuses me about some specific advice regards ARA... the avoidance of Omega 3 close to taking ARA. Why am I confused? Eggs. Eggs have both ARA and Omega 3 contained within. If these worked against each other, why do they exist together in something so natural (and fantastic) as an egg?

Article: Fish Oil Claims Not Supported by Research

This doesn't really make much sense. If fish oil DIDN'T work, then surely those cases of people taking super aspirin PLUS fish oil (probably not such a good idea) wouldn't see any effects, instead of getting nasty nose bleeds? Clearly Omega 3 works, hence the real fish recommendation, so I fail...

    L-Carnitine and CLA stack

If you're taking anything 4 times a day and you "THINK it helps", then I'd say it's probably doing sweet FA lol. ;)

Article: 9 Evidence-Based Health Benefits of Kefir

What reason would there be to be unsure about store-bought kefir? How do you know if it's good or not?

    Does isomalto-oligosaccharide spike insulin?

I've read it doesn't, but this rhetoric seems to be coming from those producing/selling the stuff and with a vested interested in pushing its efficacy... so I'm just curious seeing as I'm following a CKD protocol at present and I wonder if it's OK to include in my diet? For some bizarre reason...

How legit is this? Sounds iffy. Seems this study was done back in 2012!

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

Good to know. Yeah it's been a while since I last trained fasted either, as I never got on with it very well when I did. I don't need a big meal, but I need SOMETHING.

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I do like it, so far... only been a couple of weeks, but as long as I keep my calories where they need to be, I feel good. Definitely notice it as the week goes on though, and when I'm ready for carbs. So given I'm technically not fasted, would it be OK to take the ArA?

    The Arachidonic Acid Help Guide

I have recently started a CKD protocol, with a carb re-feed every 7-10 days. I usually have a protein shake with MCT oil about an hour or so before my workout, and 50g Karbolyn intra. Fat is typically about 150g per day or thereabouts. Eating just below maintenance. My goal is to lean out. I am...
