    I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

You guys counting the calories with this stuff? 3tbsp (22.5g) of Lecithin granules (Optima) is 200 cals (from fat mostly).

Topic of the Week: Is going on HRT still natural to you?

If an athlete takes TRT in the woods and no-one is around to see it, is he still natural? Mmm, philosophical. ;)

    Best bulk forskolin / price

My stomach always felt fine for the most part... I would just get a sudden urge and have to rush to the bathroom.

    Best bulk forskolin / price

PES F95 did not agree with me. I was fortunate enough to have my toilet incidents at home... had I been caught unawares while driving or out and about, it doesn't even bear thinking about! I'm sure I did read that the higher the purity of forskolin though, the more likely you were to have GI...

    I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

Lol, I appreciate it... I've done it myself before, but I think it can be useful sometimes on such a lengthy thread, for someone just coming in to it, trying to find out all the info. Ideally you'd want a post up front of the thread summarising it all, but that's not always possible when it...

    I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

Excellent, thank you :). I'll definitely try it out. Do you need to cycle it? Is there an optimal time to take, empty stomach etc? I've seen a few brands on Amazon of the Lecithin granuals, all similar to each other, so I'm guessing they are much of a muchness providing the PA content is the same?

    I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

I've not had the chance to properly go through this thread, but in summary is PA worth taking? I've read good things, and can be bought very cheaply it seems... a no brainer? Any side effects or things to watch out for?

Topic of the Week: Is going on HRT still natural to you?

Define 'natural', and how that would technically apply to pretty much ANYTHING we do outside of sleeping and sh*ting... hell, even these could be debated given our use of posturepedic mattresses and ergnomic toilet seats. Nothing 'natural' about those.

    eggs vs egg whites

Criminal to throw away a yolk. By all means buy some egg whites in a carton if that helps you hit your macros, but throwing away the beautiful yolk is sacrilege!

    water retention

Define "clean eating"? A diet moderately high in carbs will increase your glycogen levels and glycogen draws water into the muscle. Hence why some people will look 'flat' on a low carb diet, vs looking 'full' or even 'soft' when they re-introduce them. When cutting carbs, it can certainly skew...

    Question about Volume and Intensity...

So the basic gist here is that although 20 rep sets CAN be effective, there is no NEED for them vs 8-12 and 5-6 rep sets, which can both have benefits for hypertrophy and strength... i.e if you NEVER did a 20 rep set, it would make ZERO difference to your progress?

    Question about Volume and Intensity...

Do you mean 60% of 1RM? So if you squat 100kg for 1 rep, and you were doing 20 reps at 50kg, that would be endurance, but 20 reps at 60-65kg would result in hypertrophy? Not that you would be doing that all the time of course, as you would do sets of 8 and 12 also (perhaps some 3-5's to work on...

    Question about Volume and Intensity...

Yeah that makes sense... obviously there is lots of evidence for the 8-12 range in terms of hypertrophy, but I was curious if 20 reps for example would be less effective, despite being able to move that much more volume... and assuming it's still challenging you of course. Having tried it myself...

    Question about Volume and Intensity...

I'm aware of much of the volume vs intensity talk, and how hypertrophy is ideally suited to the 8-12 rep range vs lower reps/high weight, as lower reps would require more sets to achieve the same volume, therefore take more time... yet has has obvious stength benefits etc. etc. But how far...

Need advice from people who use/have used The Anabolic Diet

How have you calculated your macros/calories? Protein does seem high unless you're a heavy guy. I feel it worth pointing out that there's nothing 'magical' about the anabolic diet. It works well for some, not so well for others, but ultimately calorie deficit is what will determine fat loss...

    Casein and Whey before bed

This. The OP hasn't posted in so long because he died after listening to our advice and stopped taking his pre-bed casein shake. The next morning his muscle had vanished and he was unable to get out of bed or move his arm to pick up his phone and call for help. Tragic. For God's sake drink your...

    Casein and Whey before bed

The bro is strong with this one. You people buying in to this "I must have casein before bed" thing need to read up on muscle protein synthesis and how long it actually takes for you to fully digest and process the nutrients in a meal. Do that and then come back here and report your findings...

Topic of the Week: Is Cardio necessary when dieting?

It depends on the TYPE of cardio. HIIT sure, that can definitely benefit if done correctly. Banging it out steady state on a treadmill for 45 mins, no.

    Carbless postworkout

By and large, fat intake won't make a difference vs overall calorie intake... although in my experience taking your fat intake too low will certainly have a detrimental effect over a prolonged period. I've successfully lost body fat and recomped eating 150g+ fat a day, with 50g intra workout...

    Carbless postworkout

I believe the prestigious International Bro Science Institute conducted a rigorous study where in which they asked 50 bros if they thought not eating carbs post workout would cause you to lose muscle. A paper was published, peer reviewed and that is the end of the matter.
