    Hit cardio finishers

Nothing strips fat like the Concept 2 rower. Rowing 500m as fast as you can will lay waste to you and takes less than 2 minutes.

Offseason diet. Do you dirty bulk or clean bulk?

I've talked to a lot of people about this, everyone puts on muscle best at a different body fat percentage. This is why I don't like the "reverse diet" because most people don't build muscle effectively at 6%, so taking as long as possible to get to 9% body fat doesn't really make sense for a...

What made you start strength training?

What made you start strength training? I didn't know anything about training when I first started. I got a gym membership and after milling around on machines for a month, realised that it was boring and decided to do overhead pressing and deadlifting. I picked these because they just seemed...

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

You're just guessing and assuming something without any knowledge of the situation at hand. You're doing this for no other reason than to be argumentative. Sorry "AntM1564" but I'm not going to take the bait

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

I know that because I see them train every day, I see how hard they train and I've coached and competed in powerlifting for more than 5 years now. Definitely not focusing too much on others, it's my habit as a coach

    Critics for training split

Ah yep, I always overhead press at the start of arms day for this reason Shoulders are not a lagging area for me

    I'm a Carnivore

So squatting heavy isn't going well for me it seems... Time to do something different :) I am going to do jump squats going as deep into the hole as I can. I will do these so heavy that I only just get air. This should stretch out my IT band and glute med, hopefully un****ing whatever issue I...

    Critics for training split

Well when you train chest, you're already hitting the front delts. So it makes sense to do some rear and lateral delts at the end of your chest workout, instead of a whole another workout dedicated to the shoulders. At this point you may as well make it into a push/pull/legs split Day 1: Chest...

    Critics for training split

Why are you training shoulders with legs instead of with chest?

Why do people waste money on BCAA products that do not contain EAA's?

For exactly the same reason they waste money on EAAs

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

Imagine being so insecure you have to post a picture of your pubes if a random person online says you should focus more on training than obsessive planning

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

Nope, I didn't say that at all.

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

Yeah and I guarantee you have a lot more gains than most people for it

    Straight sets versus ramping weight

Yeah I definitely blame reddit for this. There are a few younger guys in my gym that come in and do 3 sets of 5 on squats bench and rows, then leave the gym. The weights they're using, they could/should definitely be doing 10 sets of 5.

    smolov (intense mesocycle)

If your goal is just a big front squat then you could front squat twice a week and do something like, as many singles with 90% of your max in 30 minutes. Then just try to beat your high score each time

    Macronutrient breakdown advice

Yeah a lot of people online seem to want to eat only the minimum amount of protein they "need" based on studies done in a clinical setting with people that don't even lift doing workouts that don't even break a sweat. I don't see why you'd even be concerned with this, if you eat 2g/lb in red...
