    Nootropics

Agreed. To be clear, I posted this as supportive of your recommendations. I find it ironic that the study actually named the brands. If they really wanted to scare people they should have blinded the names and go with “hey, 25% chance you get nothing!” ;-)

ergo-log just published a summary of a study where several brands were tested for actual content. While the study was clearly skewed towards discouraging use of supplements, big boys and girls can use this information to make informed decisions. Invalid Link Removed

    Third Cycle - Msten

Respectfully disagree. His BUN is slightly above range and creatinine is trending up. As to the ranges, keep in mind he’s in his 20’s. Not saying there is a problem but I am saying he should keep a close eye on it.

Or perhaps weight class contested sports such as MMA, grappling, wrestling, etc. I can see this as a possible “in season” supplement for these athletes. Additionally, the age group of the study was college age and not old people :-)

    Unanswered Sup3r Shred & Forksolin

Respectfully, I only see Artemisia Annua available. Not the same species. Here is an excerpt from one study on Artemisia Iwayomogi where scientists are trying to identify what compounds are responsible for the PPAR alpha agonism. Patuletin-3-O-glucoside is commonly found in A. iwayomogi, but...

I think Sup3r Shed is long gone. I also can’t find a retail source of any Artemisia iwayomogi. Interested if anyone knows of a source/product.

    Carbs supplement

Agreed for almost all use cases except maybe for athletes pre-event where a low osmolality carb source can provide fast digestion without GI issues (such as after a weigh in.) Other than that, food is cheaper, easier, and generally tastier :-)

Unanswered Not gaining on 5000 cals

Also keep in mind that to be good at HWT doesn’t mean you have to weigh in right at the limit (285). For the last four years at the D1 level we’ve had an underweight National Champion. Last year Anthony Cassar was about 237 and the three previous years Kyle Snyder was never far from 214 so he...
