  1. TRT - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Low T symptoms are absolutely worse than the minor inconvenience of pinning. I'd still recommend ruling out causes of the low T and/or low T symptoms to determine if healthy levels can be restored naturally. Trust me, if I could be free of a lifelong commitment by making some lifestyle...
  2. TRT - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

As @Chkone alluded to, are you incorporating heavy compound movements into your routine? I can attest to how much that can make a difference, as it was what I did when I started looking into my low T. Serum levels went up almost 100 points, but it wasn't enough to change my low T symptoms. My...
  3. Aging well?

Closing in on 50, I'm the strongest I've ever been. Training smarter makes a world of difference. My wife says I'm better looking now than when we first got married. I don't agree with her, but as long as she is happy... you know what they say about happy wives.
  4. Continuing cycle without 1-Andro

1-Andro converts to 1-testosterone, which is not the same as testosterone. The "1" refers to the carbon placement of the double bond on the molecule, whereas testosterone has the double bond at the 4 position. Small structural changes like this affect its action.
  5. TRT - how to ask doctor for it?

The price at the link kenpoengineer provided is very good compared to what I was paying, which was almost double that for the same services and meds. If I was in need of starting a regimen I would give them a serious look.
  6. TRT - how to ask doctor for it?

I forgot to add, as Outofbody mentioned above, that once you have been treated through a clinic, a practitioner may be more likely to continue that regimen, and you can then try to have it covered by insurance. I went that way, but I'm still battling my insurance to get it covered. Even...
  7. TRT - how to ask doctor for it?

I wouldn't recommend rushing into TRT. It's a lifelong commitment. Injecting test once or twice a week, plus another couple of HCG shots on top of that, can get pretty old, pretty quick. Yes, it does become a routine. And yes, it isn't horrible. But, it can become a pain in the ass when you...
  8. DHEA WARNING

Is your Hb 19.3? I'm assuming that's why you are asking. That's a bit high. I wouldn't be concerned with hyperoxia nearly as much as I would worry about blood thickness. .17.5g/dL is the high limit for Hb. That Hb value translates to about 57.9% hct. I try to stay in the high 40s, as 54% is...
  9. Do you get annoyed by young kids at your gym?

It is amazing how true this is! I usually have my earbuds in and tune everyone and everything around me out. There have been a few times when I forgot my earbuds, and it was a completely different experience. I'm convinced that by working out unable to hear whats going on around me, I saved...
  10. Dermacrine drug test

Competitive sports organizations may prohibit substances that are not otherwise unlawful. As an aside, Canada requires a prescription for DHEA. I was assuming that you are in the US, although there are many members from elsewhere.
  11. Dermacrine drug test

There is nothing illegal about exogenous DHEA or pregnenolone. It won't throw off your testosterone to epitestosterone levels either, since any conversion to testosterone or the other endogenously-produced hormones is through natural pathways.
  12. Bio Identical Test Pellets Opinion

Thanks thebigt I should also add that another option I explored was Aveed (or testosterone undecanoate, a long estered testosterone, for those unfamiliar with it). I saw the drawbacks to be similar to the pellets, i.e., that you get your injection, and it is what it is. No titrating doses...
  13. Bio Identical Test Pellets Opinion

Been on TRT for a few years now, and with a good amount of understanding of the issue, I opted for injections over cream or pellets, and am glad I did. With some frequent blood tests in the initial year, I was able to dial in my protocol very quickly. I don't think you will be able to get the...
  14. TRT and insurance

Yep, that's the kind of psychology I like using on my wife! I just broke from the TRT clinic I was using for a few years because I changed my primary doc. I mentioned my TRT regimen to my new doc and he understands that, having a few hundred self-injections under my belt, he could write me a...
  15. Trt high red blood count

That's one of the potential downsides to frequent donation. Something similar happened to me. When I kicked off TRT, my hct was up to about 54. I donated every few weeks, and rotated banks so I wouldn't be precluded from donating due to the necessary eight weeks not having lapsed. I did...
  16. Yohimbe vs Rauwolscine?

Same here. First time I did a full dose it hit me at work. I was standing and felt like I was gonna drop if I didn't hold onto something. I now take a half dose (one scoop) and still feel it kicking in, but without the cold sweat and anxiety effects.
  17. TRT blast and cruist

Donate blood to mitigate any polycythemia.
  18. Any experiences with Aveed?

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm leaning towards sticking with my current protocol.
  19. Any experiences with Aveed?

$200/mo, which includes a 5mL vial of tcyp, adex, HCG and syringes for the month. The new doc gave me the option of in-office Test-C injections, every two weeks. Not only do I not want to deal with going to the doctor every two weeks, but the once every two weeks protocol is just awful, and I...
  20. Any experiences with Aveed?

It's a bit steep if paying out of pocket. I'd only consider it if anecdotally the results are as good as Test C or E, AND it comes out to be cheaper after insurance. Otherwise, I'm pretty good with my current regimen, minus the cost.
