    TRT at age 18

OP-I wish you the best, but remember: happiness does not come in a pill or a vial. You say that psychologists have never helped, at the end of the day, you need to work with them, they can't crack your skull and change your thoughts. Might be time to give a bit of therapy another shot

    TRT at age 18

I am not sure that there is a clean answer to how long it will take for your levels to return to homeostasis-most people consider the first step a hormone test, not a misguided self experiment. You may need to wait a month or so just to maximize your chances of getting an accurate baseline

Question about cardio and heart rate

He is either: A) not working hard enough; B) full of it; C) both; D) someone who should see a doctor ASAP (low heartrate while exercising greatly increases risk of atrial fibrillation)

    Hematologist?

Look back in the thread: bulimic and anemic are quite different things :)

    Hematologist?

Bulimic? Do mean anemic? What exactly are you talking about? Why are you being sent to a hemo?

My shins are begging for your help

The fact that it subsides so quick is odd-doesn't quite line up with "not being able to walk". Makes me think that trigger point work may be of more help, but if it truly is that debilitating, getting it checked out makes a great deal of sense.

My shins are begging for your help

Not what you want to hear, but this sounds like something you might need to get checked out by a doc-you may have a stress fracture brewing

    "Man you've gotten huge!"

I assumed that to be the case-it was a well played response either way

    "Man you've gotten huge!"

Says the guy with "The Swole Stoner" as his sig line :)

    freaking depressed.

Take care of your head first. Sore joints don't make you worthless and are a much smaller concern than depression. Try not to tie your self-worth to BECOMING something but rather in who you are.

My shins are begging for your help

Could be shin splints (irritation in the Tib anterior) or possibly the start of a stress reaction (if it hurts as much and in the manner you say). I agree w/ the trigger point and band work. Stay away from NSAIDS if you can

    freaking depressed.

Mood swings and depression are the last things you should be trying to treat with internet forums and herbal supplements. Look into free clinics and mental health help lines--don't trust your sanity to a bunch of armchair physicians on an internet message board.

My shins are begging for your help

Is the pain sharp and localized or more dull and diffuse across the shin? Is the pain in one leg or both? Does the leg(s) hurt at rest or only when you put weight on them? Can you lessen the pain by warming up? A couple of questions that might help pin down the nature of the injury: pumps vs...

    Article: Marathon Running Plan

I pray that there isn't anyone stupid enough to try this ill-thought out, underspecified, insufficient plan. The only things that a 12 week marathon program will get you is three months of wasted time and two months short of enough training.

Article: Healthy Foods That Are Easy To Overeat

Insufficient natrium? Most of us call it sodium. It is not as easy to over drink as the article suggests, you are right. Hyponatremia, however, is a problem and it is caused 99.99999% of the time by an overconsumption of water-take this from a distance runner and more importantly a coach and...

Article: Healthy Foods That Are Easy To Overeat

No, Hyponatremia occurs when water ingestion dilutes blood to the point of insufficient electrolyte concentration. The problem is water ingestion, not time on the course. It may not be for everyone, but those who are finishing a marathon under 4 hrs (I.e. are RUNNNING it), are not going to...

Article: Healthy Foods That Are Easy To Overeat

It can happen by accident. Hyponatremia is a concern in all marathons, especially with slower runners who can drink too much water when they don't need it.

Article: Do Sports Nutrition Companies Prey On Mental Illn

At the risk of getting flamed, I have to offer at least SOME support for the author. His rhetoric is horrible, but his overall point isn't wrong--body dysmorphia does exist in the bodybuilding world. I am a recovered anorexic, and I see disordered thinking and obsessive thinking in the gym and...

please tell me everything about peptides and weight loss

It is not arrogance (I apologize if it sounds that way), but rather a refusal to spoon feed information on an invasive supplementation method to someone who is patently unwilling to research it for themselves and whose research to date (asking an internet forum to do his research for him) smacks...

please tell me everything about peptides and weight loss

OP: This is the proper etiquette for gaining knowledge from any forum.Come to the discussion with a discrete question or a concept you have isolated questions on.Asking forum members to "educate you on peptide use" without any bounds or focus (basically what you are doing here) is just lazy and...
