please tell me everything about peptides and weight loss

I knew there was a reason I (a HS teacher and coach myself) had such a visceral reaction to this request for 'help'. Good catch.

please tell me everything about peptides and weight loss

Hate to be the d!ck here, but oh well: By posting a vague (non)question and following up with a request for the forum to basically spoon feed you information, you aren't exactly sending the message that you are the most committed individual. Without some determination and initiative, there is...

    training for cycling

No problem-seriously the biggest thing you need is 'seat time'. The pedaling is easy-riding for 4+ hours takes some getting used to

    training for cycling

No offense meant here, but a 60mi ride is nothing to worry about. Unless you are racing it, I wouldn't advise training for it (hell, I use 100k rides as recovery after a hard run). The only training you need is time on the bike-learn to get comfortable on it and you are golden.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE USING GEN X LABS LEAN 650

I too am interested in whether or not there may have been an interaction. . .my comment is based off of the fact that the OP spoke of taking the supp, having a reaction, and THEN finding out about the DMAA--an ingredient with known potential side-effects.While unexpected reactions do happen, it...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE USING GEN X LABS LEAN 650

I feel bad for the OP, but that is a reasonable response given the fact that the OP's posting strongly implied that he did not do any research on the supplement's ingredients before taking it. Researching the contents and finding out about the DMAA *AFTER* an adverse reaction is hardly...

    Article: Speed Conditioning Workout

Recipe for article: Step 1: invent a bio motor capability ("speed conditioning") Step 2: group randomly assembled drills that, while good by themselves, will only indirectly improve the capability you invented Step 3: pat self on back (or do the "triceps stretch"

    epoc?

Given the atrocious grammar and spelling shown by the OP, I would actually argue that the routine must be taxing on the CNS. At least that would account for much of his post. . .or sumthin lik thayt :)

    Protein crisis, desperately need advice

OP I do apologize (slightly) for coming off rather strongly. I have a visceral reaction when people--adolescents and adults--start talking about their social surroundings and circumstances in the context of reaching their personal goals. Today, too many have forgotten (or never learned) the...

    Protein crisis, desperately need advice

OP: listen up--this is profound advice stated better than I did the first time around. It is a cop-out to blame your circumstances, your schedule, those around you. . . Exercise the power of CHOICE and pursue your goals; listen to the serious advice that has been offered you and stop coming up...

    Protein crisis, desperately need advice

150g is actually not that hard and is a goal you can easily reach without supplementation, with a supplemental shake it is a no-brainer. I hate to side track, but your diet does not need as much fixing as your attitude. Stop b!tching about HS and your schedule and make a healthy diet a priority...

How much does prilosec effect weight loss?

The only weight gain I can think of that might come with prilosec is if you had swelling due to an allergic reaction to omeprazole or one of the binding agents. Even if it had an impact, the biggest impact is going to come from diet and exercise. Don't look to pills you are/are not taking as...

my doctor told me not to drink protein shakes??!

I know that it is popular on this board to bash doctors, but look at the situation from her perspective. You are 17 years old, presenting with elevated BP with no apparent other causes (that you have told us). Your doc's attempt to get you off of supplements--which, I must point out, are...

my doctor told me not to drink protein shakes??!

Not to pick a fight, but supplement companies make their money off of people believing they 'need' their products to achieve their fitness goals. Not really all that different

Do you like this calorie calculator???

Seriously. . .seriously? I thought the product pushing was bad, but this takes it to a new and innovative low

my doctor told me not to drink protein shakes??!

Before we bash the 'intelligence' of the OP's doctor, we might pause to recognize that there is a kernel of good advice there. Leaving aside the unnecessary creatine-phobia, the advice that a 17yr old limit themselves to one shake a day and to eat real food is hardly ridiculous.

    Overtraining

I agree w/ Napalm & GeekPoop: 4 miles (steady state or interval) will not, by itself lead to overtraining. I would look first to overall diet and rest. Barring any other info, I would suspect a lack of sleep or perhaps some sort of dietary deficiency. On a more minor note, you described your...

    Help: food scale woes

If you are freaking out because of "scale discrepancies", perhaps the scale is a tool you might not want to use. I appreciate the need to measure to stay w/in a meal plan, but obsessing over minutiae is not at all healthy. Someone whose OCD is causing their scale to lead to a "breakdown" is...

Ketogenic diet for a vegetarian (no eggs, meat or fish)

OP: the simple fact is that it is going to be nearly impossible to find enough protein as a vegetarian w/o carbs. Most soy based sources=carbs. Keto might not be for you
