What time of day do you avoid the gym?

Went today ~ 6pm. Big mistake. Too much traffic/douchebags. I usually go at 9

    ep1c, follidrone or myosynergy

Do you get any sides from the ARA? It's the only natty product I haven't tried yet. I read a report saying hair loss would be possible from the inflammation. I don't see how though since the inflammation is directed to the muscle, right?

    ep1c, follidrone or myosynergy

Myosynergy for sure. I noticed jack with epicatechin. Add a little bulk forskolin 95 with your myosynergy and you will be good to go

Nice session. Lots of rowing for a big, healthy back and shoulders. How are you able to discern whether your CNS needs a back off session? What are your symptoms? Sleep, appetite, motivation are the usual indicators I think

Team Orbit -- bench press Q&A

Do you advocate flat benching every week? I've been doing 531 for the longest time. I know many guys that switch out their ME movement every week. Incline, floor press, narrow grip etc. I also heard mark bell talking about how you may get slower at a movement if you don't swap it out for a variation

I actually did just reset my TM on everything except deadlift. I lost about 20 lbs BW during my most recent recomp, so I naturally lost strength

Yeah you're right. I think I was just looking for a way to justify not going to the gym during deload week. What do you think, deload after 1 or 2 microcycles? I'm 33 and natty btw

    Journey to Elite

Yeah I have his 531 beyond book. He does have an every 7th week deload option, as in 2 microcycles. Perhaps I am being a wimp with the every fourth week deload. I don't even really push the AMRAP sets to be honest. I usually push upper movements but generally hold back on lower movements...

You'll bounce back, man. Question: I deload every fourth week as prescribed by Wendlers 531. I think it's beneficial, as it keeps me fresh. When I'm in the gym during deload week though it is so boring and all the weights are so light. I really feel like I'm not doing anything. Do you see any...

Is Planet Fitness really all that bad from a gym layout?

Bodybuilders don't care that they serve pizza. They don't care about that fitness center either. They were merely pointing out that it's asinine to serve pizza at a gym, which it is. Sure, some could benefit from a 'healthy' pizza. I don't think anybody can benefit from a dominos pizza or...

    Modified 5/3/1

531 is excellent. Just tailor it to meet your needs. I do BBB for OHP, first set last for bench, and Dave Tate's periodization bible for deads and squats. I've been running it for over a year. Even when I'm cutting I will run it. I just lower the TM accordingly.

Rod, I tried something new with mobility for the scap/traps: lay on LAX ball, elevate hips into glute bridge and hold a KB straight up allowing it to add pressure into the tissues. It is brutal. My range of motion after doing this is incredible

Just for clarification: when I squat, I shouldn't open up the hips until the bottom or so? So back, straight down, then open hips? I'll have to throw up a squat vid of me so you can critique
