Nothing has show/proven keto to be better or worse then higher carb/protein low fat diets. Best bet to to find a diet that you can consistently adhere to, this is where most people fail.
Peptides work very well for me. They can be used during a cycle, along with post cycle PCT or as a bridge between cycles. They are pretty versatile if you find legitimate sources.
Some research has come out showing it may not matter when you take your protein in during the day as long you're meeting your required needs. But, when I was bulking to 280 i believe it made it easier to get in more calories at night (my observation).
Cage presses (use the cage during shoulder Barbell presses as friction/resistance), watched Meadows do them a few years back and added them to my staple of exercise. But people look at me funny every time I do them.
Don't waste time at 5mg to start Var, we usually don't see results until our ladies hits 10mg daily and have used as high as 20/30mg depending on which class and tolerance.

I've trained Olympic, pro and collegiate athletes that workout 4-6hrs a day for years and they can reach a state of over training with all factors being controlled. And I don't believe many if any but a few in bodybuilding realm will actually overtrain. You may under eat, sleep, stress out...
Keep your current workout, cut 200cals or add 200cals of cardio and gauge your body's responses/changes as a base and go from there is the short answer...
On cycle frequency/load/volume is 3x per week for each muscle group.
Off cycle (first 4-6weeks) I bump these variables down to 2x per week for each muscle group.
Off cycle (next 4-6weeks) I bump down even further to 1x per week for each muscle group.
Back on cycle I just reverse the above...
Abs shape and structure are genetic (4,6,8) but body fat determines visibility. I know people that have abs that do zero cardio and those that do hours of cardio daily to have them, so again the amount of cardio you have to do to see abs is by individual needs/requirements.
