Oooo a fellow Brit. At least you'll understand the KG's!
I've not really had time to update my last two sessions so I'll just add the highlights.
Thursdays Coen deadlift was week 5 I believe so was 3 x 3 - 160kg & 3 x 3 - 130kg. Nothing overly exciting and I must say enthusiasm levels for it...

I hate it when I see the top level woman totally smashing my numbers. I watched a video of a 75kg ish girl squat 280kg RAW not long ago. I like to think it was fake though. I have to otherwise I'd just give up.
It was definitely a mind fook to begin with but I've found that after each cut. When I've increased calories again my strength has rebounded and come back to where it was or stronger. Also sluts love cuts :18:
Cheers chaps.
Today was squat day. Singles week in the grand scheme of Wendlers. I intend to deload next week as I've been grinding it out for a while now......

Nice Sumo video. That's about how quickly I pull my top sets in real life :D I tried Sumo for a while but quickly decided it sucked.....or maybe I sucked. I couldn't be sure. Conventional all the way for me now!!
Decided to start a log here as I'm quite enjoying the forum. I've been training for a good while and have focused on Powerlifting for the last 5 years. In that time I think I've done 5 competitions and spent a spell of 18 months not competing due to injury. I'm not smashing any records or...
Dragging up an old post but this section of the forum does seem quiet.
I highly rate the Coen programme and pretty much just stick to running it in the 10 week cycles as I hate deadlifting and find the gradual build up through the weeks means I'm less likely to injure myself. I think the trick...
A fellow 5 3 1 guy. I shall be starting a log as soon as I've got a post count that allows me to put up video. It's gonna take me a while to get used to you guys all posting in lbs though!!
I agree with herderdude. Just stick to the plan as it's been designed by a guy with a whole lot more proven knowledge and experience than us. With the inclusion of jokers, AMRAP's and if you're truly pushing you + sets then progress will be flying. I've set my pal up on that programme and...
It's fine doing the boring but big after but I personally think it's best not to do the BBB with the exercise that was that days main exercise ie Bench day do OHP BBB and vice versa. Squat and Deadlift vice versa. I just think that there's more benefit from the frequency than there is the...
Until recently I was following the Advanced 5/3/1 template but I started feeling a little beat up so I changed back to standard 5/3/1 with Jokers and AMRAP's. Bench day I do BBB on OHP and on OHP day I do BBB on Bench. I've dropped BBB on Squats at the moment in favour of squatting again for 3...
Why not just start out at 20mg from the beginning? My experience so far has shown it to be great during PCT at which I ran 15mg for keeping strength. I've ran it solo after a short break at 20mg and I'd rate it for a slight strength increase and helping with recomp.
I personnally would drop lateral raises and do pull ups. Not entirely keen on your OHP day either seems a bit overkill on pressing if you're actually going all out. I'm no expert but this is how I'm running mine at the moment......
Squat day
5/3/1
Joker sets
AMRAP
Leg Extentions SS Leg curl...
I'm currently doing 5/3/1 and adding 5 x 10 - OHP on bench day and 5 x 10 - Bench on OHP day. I also do Squat 3 x 5 on Deadlift day. I don't run Deadlifts with the 5/3/1 structure though, and I only Deadlift once a week. I really like this setup at the moment. I think the added frequency is...
I'm loving this forum already. Learning lots.
Stanley G, what is the fiberous mass in breast tissue then? I've attributed to gyno in the past but at the same time the fact that it did disappear after a few weeks of Nolva use made me wonder why people have surgery to remove Gyno.
