    I think there's alot better choices for a pre workout sugar/energy boost=fruit,juice,ect i train in the morning and eat oats,whites,greek yougurt,coconut meat and a banana or apple and drink bcaa's/waxy maize during training about 5g bcaa/25-45g waxy works for me.

  4. Oatmeal--ideas?

    My pre-workout oatmeal is usally 1c dry oats(10g protein)with half serv of shedded coconut meat along with 1/2c coconut milk,egg whites(1/2c)and greek yogurt(1/4c)gets me around 30g protein and tastes pretty good.

    I think how it works is the fat is only a fuel source to help you train in the gym/recover to build the muscle,i might be wrong but seems right.

    I always take mine in morning with breakfast,but been taking orange triad latly which is 3 in morn 3 in eve,in the morning you got any vits that you need that your food doesnt make up for,at night some give you some energy which might not be good for sleeping.

    If your talking about what you actually ate and not the macros,i run into this also. Whats going on is some foods(like pasta)was a good bit of protein and carbs so it'll be higher in cals then counting it only as a "full"cho. Same with yogurt,nuts they have both carbs/protein.

    Sunday night i have a planned supper(out to eat)with folks,i rarly ever eat out.And order a high fat mod carb dinner,or i just fix it at home with hitting my macro's for that meal(notice no real diff in feeling)either way its 900cals at 1 pop.
