Prop Glycol...for any solution?
Maximum solvation will be with straight PEG-400. The only reason to add PG is for bacteriostatic action and even then is not really necessary as most will consume their batch in a month or two. There would be no reason to add EtOH (Everclear for those that don't know). Chemo -

Addition of PG may help with bacteriostatic control but overall the largest volume swallowed will be about 1 or 2 mL. Also, since the generally bitter taste of most hormones will mask the taste of the matrix (whether it be bitter or sweet) I'd prefer to get maximum solvation. Just my personal... -

Concetration of BA or of 1,4? If you sterile technique is good go with 2.5% BA...otherwise stick with 5%. I'd stay around 25-50 mg/mL with 1,4 as most will pin ED or twice daily. Also, it will be best for the pain factor as 25 is virtually pain free (notice I said "virtually"). Chemo -

Because PG uses a strong hydrogen bonding potential to affect solvation but retains its slightly polar characteristics. Now, this is fine for general solvation but will lose efficiency on non-polar molecules (i.e. - prohormones). It will have to rely on strictly hydrogen bonding. Now, PEG-400... -
