Pulse cycles can be great for beginners. Also it depends on your goals. You're not gonna win a bb contest pulsing Epi but the average gym rat will see nice gains in strength and size assuming training, diet and rest are sufficient.
If possible, get your estrogen (estradiol) and cortisol checked out with a blood test. These two tend to run high in us older gents. Both are relatively easy to control with OTC supps. I recommend low dose formestane transdermal if your E comes back high. There's tons of cortisol control supps...
