Hey man! Stones were incredible. You'll see in the video. And the ladies were amazing as well. Sorry I wasn't more talkitive. I was running on 3 hours sleep that day. Haha. I should be more awake next time you see me ;)
I'm not gonna say any of the advice given here is wrong. To each their own and whatever works. I'll give my own personal experience, as I injured my lower back on farmers walk (a very similar movement to deadlift on the pick) about 4 months ago. I actually did nothing but lightweight deadlift...
That was actually the first time I had attempted a 1RM in about 4 months. Got 550 last time. I try not to do singles too often, opting more for triples. Thank you sir!
I was training 16" deadlift in anticipation of a hummer tire event in Pennsylvania's Strongest Man this September. Just found out it will be car deadlift though. Oh well. Progress all the same.

Just found out the events for Pennsylvania's Strongest Man. They are as follows, in no particular order as of yet:
Press medley: log, axle, dumbbell, keg (no weights set)
Keg toss
Car deadlift
Caber carry ( basically get a caber upright in your hands and carry it 80 feet without dropping it)...
