Reading up that Var can wreck lipids while on cycle.
Was thinking that Ezetimibe along with something like SNS Cholesterol Support XT could help limit the damage on cycle, as well as continuing to take both during PCT as well. Does this make sense?
Anyone have any experience with either and have bloodwork to support it?
Yes, firsthand experience multiple times taking Var in my stack along with Ezetimibe and the ingredients in Cholesterol Support.
What you will find in literature and real bloodwork is Ezetimibe is going to drop LDL a good 10% for most. This is probably the biggest single thing you can do on Var to keep LDL from skyrocketing if prone, besides using a statin. I have seen LDL creep up from ~100 to 130 over 6 weeks with 50mg Var (on top of about a gram total of Test, Mast & a little Deca) while using 5mg Ezetimibe, some Raloxifene and very similar support stack to Cholesterol Support XT, eating like a 265lb powerlifter.
Ezetimibe was found to deliver nearly all the same results at 5mg/day as 10mg by the VA when they were trying to save money, so they just started prescribing veterans the half dose. Half the drug exposure, supply lasts twice as long.
Citrus Bergamot at 1g or so will keep HDL about 10-20% higher. Basically if you are willing to spend the money, you will get about 4 more points of HDL or so. IMO, this is MOST important on Var or a cycle when HDL is tanking. Having 40 vs 46 HDL is not as big of a difference as 20 vs 24; when things are deficient they matter more. I take a gram year round though, have for years now.
I took Ezetimibe for a few years straight, but found microdosing Rosuvastatin at 2.5mg twice per week/e3d per the Ohio clinical trials to improve things overall better. So I’ve currently dropped the Ezetimibe after last prep and just going to see what the micro statin dose can do solo for now.
