Hair Maintenance

Anyone taking anything to combat hair loss? I’ve always had thick wavy hair. But I’m losing it a little on the sides. I’m only taking Saw Palmetto right now but looking at other options.

I use this Pura D'or daily. I rub it into the scalp and let it sit for awhile while I clean other areas. My hairline has improved a bit.

I also take a pumpkin seed/saw palmetto formula. Idea for all 3 products is to reduce DHT, which seems to help.

Not interested in the fin/min route so the above seems to work pretty good.

Look into Regenepure DR shampoo, it has ketoconazole (pura d'or doesn't), caffeine, etc. Using it 2-3 times a week should help slow or stop hairloss (it won't grow hair though).

I don't really have hair loss issues but have a hair health regimen. My hair has gotten healthier and thicker since using red light cap EOD. Something to look into. I will do a once a week castor, argan, and caffeine hair mask.
Agree with the saw palmetto/pumpkin and pura d'or conditioner suggestions as well.

FYI Pura D'or does have ketoconazole - but you have to get the right formula - the M.D. Maximum Defense.

Can you tell me what saw palmetto you are using and the dosages of each? I’ll have to look into the shampoo. I don’t really want to take fin/min. A buddy of mine is and it’s working well for him though

I've use revita, Pura, big 3, a bunch of other Amazon ones. Regenepure is the best one imo.

You mentioned not wanting to go down the minoxidil/finasteride route, probably due to hormonal side effects on Testosterone, but have you considered using them as a topical?
I’ve never tried oral finasteride for the same reason, however I started using the 4 in 1 topical minox (7%), finasteide (0.3%), Ketoconasol (2.2%) , Biotin (0.2%) about a year ago and my hair is much thicker now. Just need to add some more growth to the crown area.

Topical minox was giving me some extra body hair, I had to stop it.

Check your ferritin and copper levels, I’m taking a multi vitamin and looks like is helping with my thin hair.

Keto nizoral or similars, I’ve got zero results from it.

I have seb dermatitis and only head and shoulders works for me, I spent $200 in a dermatologist for nothing.

Sounds crazy but I use the Cecred edge restoring drops with 1mg of added AHK-cu. Put it in a lil spray bottle and the thinning hairline and temples have completely recovered in 9-10 months.

i saw more hair regrowth using maneup. im sure nobody needs to hear this, but results can take up to 6 months. i added something called koshine, which is allegedly a dht blocker in the scalp that dissolved into metabolites when i reaches the bloodstream. will be interesting to see whether or not the stem cell injection and maneup are adequately covering all my bases after koshine has a chance to work

one google search found this about maneup.
koshine is just a fancy overpriced pyralutamide, weaker dht blocker than fin topical.

stem cell injection seems promising
