An easy place to get bloodwork

ironviking

The Axe Man Cometh!!
We all know how important bloodwork is for so many reasons while on PEDs, PCT, seeing if those test boosters are working, or just wanting info on markers like lipids. The cost of getting these tests done can be stupid expensive though, I've spent over $300 at private labs, and insurance will only cover every 6mos or so which limits going to the doc and that visit can be too intrusive for some.
Recently I decided to give Rhythm Health a try and super glad I did. I ordered the kit on Thursday and got my results back the following Thursday, I even had a delay with the FedEx pickup and still got the results back in a week. Also, I was able to compare my results with a blood draw at my docs the following day and they were comparable. Well within two percent tolerance.
Figured I'd post this up for you guys wanting a good way to get bloodwork done but maybe forego it due to costs and/or hassle. Everything is done at home and the cost is $79 + shipping.

Here is what they test (sorry for the weird order). A couple of markers missing but quite comprehensive for most purposes.

Fructosamine
Thyroid Stimulating Hormone
Hemoglobin
Vitamin B12
Uric Acid
GGT
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP)
Albumin
Triglycerides
HDL Cholesterol
Total Cholesterol
ApoB
Creatinine
hs-CRP (High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein)
Total Testosterone
Estrogen
SHBG
Ferritin
Free T3
Vitamin D
Free Testosterone
LDL Cholesterol
Hematocrit
LDL/ApoB Ratio
Total Cholesterol/HDL Ratio
Triglycerides/HDL Ratio
Remnant Cholesterol

If you decide to use and want to throw me a referral ($20 off) link is below.
Check out Rythm Health - use my link https://rythm.health/seanwheel71 for $20 off your first order.

Read my mind. Been wanting to do bloodwork as I never have at 41. Gonna look into cost with insurance and if it’s too much I will try this and use you as a referral.

You can go to a quest diagnostics lab and pay out of pocket for blood work. You can go on the website and look for mens hormone panels and there's different ones to choose from. I'm not quite sure if you can just pick very specific things but I imagine if you're paying out of pocket for what you do whatever you want

Yea but have you seen the prices? Just a simple men's hormone panel runs over $100. I was going to LabCorp and paying over 300 to get all the markers I wanted. That's a bit rich for my blood (pun intended). With this a person can get the markers they need and it's cheap enough to run regularly.

for a total testosterone level at quest it will run you about 70 bucks, if you want the whole mens panel it will be about 230 ish, generally quest is a little bit cheaper than labcorp.

damn do they ahve you take the blood
Comes with a device you attach to your arm and it pulls capillary blood. They provide a heating pouch to really warm up the area first. Totally pain free and the vial on mine filled in less than a minute. Prepaid envelope to fed ex it back.

Those are pretty normal prices. I always expect it to be 100-250+. I haven't pulled in a while but pretty sure it was around $200 last time I paid out of pocket.

I also thought you were asking where to get blood work, I responded to the title of the thread instead of the actual post

The best place to order labs and it's super cheap is https://www.anabolicinsights.ai/

You should be able to get all of that done for super cheap less than $150, and you can pick and choose what you want. Make sure to use quest b/c I think they have better prices than the other labs, but there's the other guys to choose from too.

Yep I totally just read your post haha, o well. here's another spot to get labs!

An easy work-around to get your insurance to pay is to ask your doc to order the labs during your annual physical. Be prepared to BS on the symptoms. For example, asking for a men's hormone panel if under 50, mention lack of libido. For a thyroid panel, mention how easy it is you gain weight and you feel lethargic.

I use privatemdlabs. With coupon (which is offered about monthly) a men's hormone panel light is $79.

That Rythm device looks promising. I would be worried about accuracy.
