Wusup guys, do any of you combine beta alanine with creatine? If so, do you notice any benefits vs taking either independently? I take all kinds of supplements and im trying to reduce the amount a little, getting rid of the unnecessary stuff

Thanks for the reply. I've been running it for awhile but i take other stuff too so i didn't know if the beta/creatine stack was helping.

I think that Creatine definitely helps.

Beta Alanine is added into a lot of things because it's inexpensive and it can help endurance at high dosages, but it needs to be used daily in order to do so. It's added into a lot of products as 'window dressing' that it doesn't need to be in, like pre-workouts. It's senseless in a pre because you need to use it daily to get the best results. Companies just throw it in a pre because some people get the tingles from it and think its working. (I hate the tingles from it myself).

What dose were you taking or do you suggest when you refer to "high dosages"? I thought beta mixed with creatine made both more beneficial.

both def are worth it .. i dont think beta is totally necessary just for pre since it increases your carsonine levels

well i think it has more benefits if you split the dosage through out the day ( atleast from what i remember the study i read a while ago )

dont know why its added to pre with like 20-24servings , if you can imo take it 4-6g a day for few months

and yea creatine is a staple, currently on MCC + HCL atleast till july im stocked up

I like the split idea. So 4-6g throughout the day. Ive just been taking 1-2g beta with 5g creatine. Read some studies that supported combining the 2 for a synergistic benefit. Thanks for the reply.

For Creatine it depends on the form:
  • Monohydrate - 5 to 10 grams
  • Creatine HCI - 1.5 grams to 3 grams
  • Magnesium Creatine Chelate - 2.5 grams to 5 grams

Beta Alanine 3.2 to 6+ grams.

That's true, depends on the form. First time hearing about MCC though. Interesting.

ohh MCC is awesome bro, one of my fav next to HCL.

I make like 7 bottles of MCC + HCL + IP6 ( tiny bottles ) i love it .. ip6 w/ watermelon flavor of sns hcl brings a lil tartness its so tasty

Magnesium Creatine Chelate is Creatine Magnapower, a patented ingredient from Albion/Balchem.

It offers great absorption and doesn't bother some people's stomachs or cause the bloating that some experience with monohydrate.

Monohydrate is fine for people that can take it, but for me personally, it causes me to hold too much fluid in my stomach and joints and bothers my stomach so I use HCI or MCC.
