BASIS - An All New Type of Natural Anabolic - Intro & Discussion

I might be insane but my shoulders already feel 100% better. I remember over the summer when I was lifting I was wondering how I was lifting all this weight with no joints problems at all. And then Basis ran out. This works better for me than Cissus. Might have to make this a staple.
Honestly, forgot how great my lifts last summer were as well. Within 2 days my nagging elbow went away and I'm back to feeling great again.
Just reread my post from last year and 100% forgot how great I felt and looked on Basis. Stocked up on the pre-sale, but will definitely be placing another larger order here shortly as I don't want to run out again.

I’m just going to say Basis is one of the best if not best supplements for me. Great strength, muscle mass increases with a great Recomp effect. Basis is also one of the best if not best joint supplements. My shoulders have been aching for a while now, and in two weeks it’s almost all gone. I take high dose fish oil, Cissus, Condroitin, MSM in my multi and none compare to the effect Basis has had. I’m lifting heavy shoulder press, bench pres, dips with weights again. Hope it never runs out of stock again.

I feel the exact same way. Anything is possible with this in the mix. I'm over the hill but sure don't feel like it.

Stacks great with Uro B, which is easily my favorite single ingredient for 💪.

Do you guys notice any pumps or endurance effect when taken pre workout? or just pre workout due to convenience and mealtime
Honestly, I take a few supplements pre-workout, so I probably couldn’t honestly say if it adds to pumps or not, but it does increase overall muscle fullness and I definitely believe it helps with endurance. I’m just amazed at how wide of a range of what it helps from helping joints, health benefits, strength, and muscle fullness…it’s definitely my favorite supplement.

I personally notice a performance effect when taken PWO. I take most of my stuff in the morning when I get up and PWO ie AXT. AE, Basis, Lean Edge, A1 PWO only. Or first thing on no workout days.

The magic of Basis is starting to kick in hard. Joints feel liquid again reminds me of my 20s, shoulder pain abolished. Strength going through the roof again. Recomp effect kicking in. Had another great gym workout. Muscles feel full. This is a month and a half into my Spring Cut. Just great stuff. I hate pics of myself but I think the stack is working. Top is the before…

BASIS is for people that want to build muscle and lose fat.

A nice additional benefit is that it is good for joint and bone health and recovery, and a lot of people notice a pretty dramatic difference in reduced joint pain.

The write up on page 1 of this thread is very in depth and detailed and goes into the science of what BASIS is and how BASIS works. If you haven't read that, check it out - as it goes into a lot of detail.

There's a lot of feedback in this thread on what people see and feel, and hopefully some people may recap their experiences for you, but there's a lot already in the thread that you can read through.

So I placed an order what is your opinion on my stack if there is something that i should change , add or subtract.

  • M-Test
  • BASIS
  • DCP Ultra
  • SNS Pepti-plex
  • CEL MPC185
2 bottles of each to start .

Let me give you some context

40yr male

I have NEVER worked out consistently it has always been something like this.. optimal hypertrophy workout along with exceptional diet, 2-3 months, then 18 months off, same cycle for the last 15 years. Hardly any real consistency but 110% dedication when doing it.

Currently in a right mess, I hold some muscle, all lifts progressing nicely although i do feel like im approaching a plateau soon mainly on back and possibly chest. Currently around 27% body fat.

I am recomping , slight deficit, with the goal to keep/add muscle and lose body fat since I have so much of it, i'd be happy at 15% in due course.

So your thoughts on my stack?

I may actually post this as a new thread lol

It's interesting that you say that about consistency. The reason I say that is that we are in the process of a big website update and one of the new pages is dedicated to people that have a hard time with consistency - some notes, tips, and encouragement type of things.

I struggled with consistency when I was younger too, but mostly stuck with it. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition 15 years ago and I cannot be consistent now bc of flareups. That gave me the idea for the page on the site to encourage people to do the best that they can do and that we all deal with different life factors, but to try to encourage people to do the best that they can and not feel defeated or discouraged when they aren't consistent, but focus forward on getting back to it when they can and doing the best that they can.

I don't want to comment on DCP since its another company that sponsors here's product and he doesn't like me very much anyway.

M-Test, BASIS, Pepti-Plex, and MPC-185 is a great stack - that will be good for helping with lean muscle, strength, recovery, improved fat loss, and has some really good healthy aging and longevity properties. BASIS and Pepti-Plex could both be rebranded as anti-aging and longevity products and a great stack.

In another thread, you had asked for suggestions on things to add. If you wanted to add anything to that stack, my suggestions would be Lean Edge, Recomp20, and Thermo Scorch. (prioritized in that order).

I really like Lean Edge because it targets fat loss through a lot of different angles.

Can’t go wrong with any of those in your stack. I’m partial to AXT, AE, Alpha One which are not in your stack. Also Lean Edge is a great non stim fat burner with a great profile.

It’s so nice to be able to train heavy again & not worry about shoulder/elbow pain anymore

Long live BASIS

Bore Basis have a GDA effect to it? I’ve noticed it a few times now and I noticed it with the othe BMP formula. It’s probably amplified because I’m on a long term keto diet. I’m going to have to pay attention to eating and not just miss like I usually do with meals.

It definitely has a recomp effect to it.

By GDA effect, are you meaning recomp or blood sugar? It definitely seems to help with recomp and I could see how it would help improve insulin sensitivity, but I don't think there would be any worries of low blood sugar. I had used it with Lean GLP which is pretty potent for helping balance blood sugar and no issues with that.

I got BASIS in the mail coming...today I think? I tried it months and months ago but was vaping and I really think it stunted its effects so I'm off that now. I supplemented with BMP while the stock was out. I'm adding RECOMP20 and M-Test with it hopefully will see some good recomp effects.

BASIS, Recomp20, and M-Test should be a great stack.

Vaping really make a difference to it?

I doubt that it will make a big difference for most people.

The other company/product that he mentioned emphasized not to take nicotine with theirs, so that's where the thought process with nicotine comes from. It's not that nicotine would so much interfere with the product as that nicotine can lead to lower bmp levels on its own if I remember correctly.

thats a sick stack .. recomp20 w/ basis would be a nice leaning out stack .. mtest always delivers

Kind of like a glucose disposal agent effect? Almost like a low blood sugar feeling, but I always get this I know I am recomping good. Might be because I’m on keto.

At any rate I’m recomping nicely, pain is gone completely. It’s absolutely astonishing about the joint pain, and I am lifting heavy weights again with no pain at all. Great stuff. I had a really bad bicep tendon injury that took about 6 months to heal, both shoulders were feeling bad, and I am lifting heavy again with no pain.

pick this up or from flex it $165 for 3 pack.

As for retailers being mentioned in the thread, we are glad to sell direct or for people to support their retailer of choice.

We hope to have BASIS back in stock for direct sale within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

@KimChee did BASIS help your tendonitis? Mines driving me nuts (biceps tendonitis in shoulder area)
Basis has helped my joint pain better than anything I’ve taken. Shoulders were just aching and I messed up a tendon in my bicep that took 6 months to heal. Unfortunately, I didn’t have Basis until the end of that but now I have virtually no pain and am blasting heavy weights in movements that usually bother me anymore. Shoulder prews, bench, weighted dips, heavy curls etc. I can def tell a difference in my muscle density just from the heavier weights.

I had Basis sitting in the stash ready to start in 2 weeks once Anabolic Effect runs out. I couldn’t resist any longer so I started today. I’m excited to see how a 3 month run treats me.

DPS still has some BASIS in stock. I just ordered more myself. My shoulders are feeling fantastic, and that’s after benching 230 for 10 reps at 61 years old the other day. Yep BASIS is definitely one of my staples.😎👍

Current stack 2nd round of Basis, I think this is unique in here and awesome stack.

First time was last year took it standalone for recomp/maintenence (not including staples like caffeine, fish, creatine, multi, whey) had bad knee injury and it helped keep me lean even though I couldn’t do any cardio and not further cuts on my diet to make up for it. I was incredibly surprised how lean I stayed with no diet changes to make up do less activity due to injury.

Basis 3 months supply
MA Labs GW 6-8 week 20mg
Bronkaid 2x a day to help with breathing
Caffeine and/or strong coffee
Toniiq Cissus (old man joints haha in combo with Basis benefits)
Plus all my year round staples

This time more targeted fat loss than recomp, have healthy knee and needing 7lbs minimum of fat to lose to be fairly ripped, trying to achieve in 6 weeks, won’t complain if I do it in 4.

Nice! I think i'm about to jump on Basis as well. I have a good stash of it in my supplement stash.

My day 4 update of BASIS:

First time I’ve taken it so not sure what to expect for me personally, but there definitely seems to be a little fullness / vascularity going on. I’m 11 weeks into my cut so not expecting anything drastic to happen on the daily however, as I was shaving I noticed everything just seemed fuller - could be coincidence but I’m certainly intrigued and might just have to grab a few more bottles.

I’m almost finished with my cut so I’ll probably hit maintenance soon. I’m planning a higher carb day Sunday to see if things really “pop” then but I’m certainly intrigued with the potential recomp benefit. To touch on my post earlier, I had almost the appearance of a refeed meal but my diet has been exactly the same. I will continue to report back should anything else jump out at me.

Edit: I also seem to be hungrier than normal today

There certainly is a legitimate joint benefit from using BASIS. I ALWAYS have some type of nagging wrist pain or elbow pain after chest day and I just didn’t today. It’s one of those things that hit me about an hour ago thinking how great I felt then realized - no pain. Good stuff! Also noticing increased muscle fullness and strong appetite increase. I’m still in a calorie deficit, but I’m really struggling with keeping those calories in check.

is it possible that BASIS could be causing any type of lethargy? I’m back to maintenance calories and just can’t shake a general feeling of tiredness. I suppose I could be coming down with something but it’s been about 5 days now and just find it odd. Looking forward to any thoughts. (Joints still feel great though)

I've never heard of that before and I can't think of any reason that it would be.

Most people report a better overall energy level on it. I know that my energy level is definitely better on it.

There's so much stuff going around and the allergy season from hell this year, my guess would be that it was something along those lines.

My hope is that it is something completely unrelated as I just ordered another bottle for a longer run.

I agree with Steve, there really isn’t any ingredient in BASIS that would cause lethargy. It doesn’t necessarily give me an instant energy boost, just makes me feel better overall, and I do believe the recomp effect it has leads to your energy levels getting better and better. We’ve already had a lot of pollen here in Georgia, and with that a lot of people are battling allergies. So it could be something like that or something else unrelated.

Never experienced that. Quite the opposite. I agree with others, most likely allergies. The pollen is absurd this year. Many coworkers report the same feeling. Sleep fine, but wake up with no energy.
