In the Mail ....

I think I'm already paying Steve's mortgage...
Axt, uro b, cloma plex, opti t, joint edge, stress and anxiety :)
I’d probably consider rotating out cloma, AXT, or opti T for a 3-6 months and see how you like BASIS. 2 things I noticed with BASIS were that A. Seemed like it supports the joints a bit and B. Seemed like I really did get more/better erections from the PDE5 inhibition some of the ingredients promote.

Not Tadalafil level, but there was a positive difference all the time it felt like.

Newest haul. Pretty excited because some I haven’t tried yet. The sabroxy, affron saffron and Core nutritionals new Pump black. Was waiting on the new super swole but I liked the profile and when I saw the flavor Texas Peach, I felt obligated.
I need to get in on some of that focus xt

Between the price point, servings, and profile, it really is hard to beat. I take the caffeine free and have had both fruit punch and peach rings, both amazing but peach is one of my go to flavors, so it’s extremely good to me.

Are you taking it daily? Might want to use it every once in a while. My SNS budget is already stretched thin with my stack lol.

Completely understandable, with my routine right now, I take it 2 days on, 1 off. But when I have to start watching funds I’ll take a week off here and there. I also feel like it kinda helps with tolerance.

My Lean Edge has Huperzine A in it. Might try some single ingredient Bacopa first.

Focus XT can be used daily or as needed. A lot of people like daily use because a lot of the ingredients have a lot of long term cognitive health benefits in addition to the focus and energy benefits.

A lot of people use it in place of energy drinks because it provides a lot more benefits for a fraction of the price, and some people use it as a pre-workout if their goal is to increase energy, focus, and concentration.

You aren't going to overdo it on Huperzine by stacking Lean Edge and Focus XT.

Lean Edge has 100 mcg. and Focus XT has 100 mcg.

For reference sake, Huperzine A XT is 200 mcg per day (so the total of the above) and some people take 2 caps per day.

Even Life Extension, a brand known for being conservative with their dosages bc they're so large and mainstream, they make a 200 mcg. Huperzine A capsule and their suggested use is 1 to 4 caps daily.

Performance, too!
Olive leaf even supports the immune system (as does D3).

There’s just a ton of good stuff going on between all the ingredients in one product. Antioxidants, lowered BP and cardiac inflammation, potential reversal for arterial plaque even with the pomegranate, bloodflow, proper calcium shuttling from the K2 & D3 combo (which most people understand how important D3 is for immune now since COVID, besides healthy testosterone etc).

I’ve actually looked into pomella and it also helps with gut health and metabolism, there’s more but can’t remember it all, it seems like an awesome ingredient.

Pomella is good for test too!

I have some sitting in my pantry but yet to try it! What do you notice most when taking it?
I goofed when it originally came out and didn't listen to Steve saying it would sell out so fast, only ran 2 bottles before it was OOS all that time, so I don't have a huge sample size to go on but: body felt better, especially joints/tendons/ligaments. And into the 2nd bottle it seemed like the recomp effects started to kind of kick in. Looking forward to being able to run it a lot longer now haha.

Speaking of which - just to let everyone know - we are very close to out of stock again.

Restock shouldn't take nearly as long this time, but we're very close to out of stock.

The cons of making a great product!

N

Nattokinease added to the Cardio XT is an awesome stack!

I had thought about adding that in to it at one time, but the reason we didn't is because some people need to avoid Nattokinase and also because since it is derived from soy, people with soy allergies wouldn't be able to use it (including me lol).

How long will the restock take?

For BASIS, I'm hoping we will have more in within 4 to 6 weeks.

We're getting a lot of things back in stock consistently - its just a process trying to get things back in and get inventory levels built back up after all the supply chain issues last year.

Already tried the Greatness PWO. It's a good one for your lower stim days. I used it for HIIT centric workout where I didn't want my heart pounding, enjoyed it. I can easily add half a caffeine tab for a more powerful punch.

I really enjoy the RX bars. Trubar is another one i've been trying recently as well.

Yeah me too, I don't know if I've had one I didn't like, tbh. But I just rarely see myself in a position where the macros make sense. I like the idea of protien bars, but generally they're so carb/fat heavy I struggle to understand them. we have them in our cafeteria here but if I'm in a pinch I'll either grab a bag of pretzels for straight clean carbs, or a tuna fish for straight clean(er) protein. I just want those protein bars to make more sense cause I like them so much lol.

We can make better whole food bars at home. I recently brought this recipe into work and got rave reviews,

16oz raw honey
16oz organic unsalted smooth peanut butter
3 scoops of protein

Put them (honey/pb) into a blender and blend until 100% mixed. Add 2 scoops of protein powder, blend again, add a 3rd and blend until 100%.

It turns into a big slab of soft bar goodness. Put the slab in a 8x8 non stick pan and flatten

Put the slab on a big piece of parchment paper, remove excess oil with paper towels. Cut the slab in half, cut each half into 6-8 bars.

I looked at the outright bar label years ago, first two ingredients were honey and peanut butter. An easy recipe to replicate. Just be careful with your blender it could overheat. I do 20-30sec bursts of blending, wait a few minutes and go again.

Cheaper than a box from VS and you have control over all the ingredients.

Got another tub of magnesium creatine chelate. I love the stuff no water retention, bloat or stomach problems. I like taking 2.5g pre and post workout. Great stuff.

Agreed most of them aren't the right macros but in many cases the ones I tend to go for are somewhat within the macros for me. Rx bars and the trubars are definitely my go to right now. Plus they're available at Costco so it makes it convenient.

my wife will often get me a case of the muscle milk lights at costco that avg out to like $1 ea or less I think. those are crazy convenient to toss in the gym bag. not totally unrelated, but also the white monsters show up there occasionally too lol.

Agreed! They make great coffee creamer as well!

Any protein recommendations for me? Want a chocolate isolate that's easily mixable (thin consistency). I've liked Earth Fed Muscle and Thorne. Was not a fan of MuscleSport Chocolate.

That’s basically the one protein you can’t mess up & can get anywhere, a chocolate isolate. Just comes down to if you care to spend more for things like grass-fed blah blah blah, prefer more sweetener or less, artificial or natural etc.

But cocoa itself adds so much flavor, and isolate is always thin, not about being a thicker more filling shake. So it usually is hard to mess up; you know what you are getting. It’s basically every other flavor where brand matters more 😂

I’d just get something like Vitamin Shoppe’s brand or what have you, whatever is most affordable per scoop.

I disagree heavily. A lot of isolates taste horrible. The AllMax brand is absolutely disgusting and tastes like someone put Dawn dish soap in the jug. I've had more bad proteins than good.

I've never tried their Chocolate Isolate, but their Cookies N Cream Isolate is awesome.

Agree. It can be very hit or miss. And then if it tastes amazing, you question whether or not it's legit what they say on the label. Any you care to recommend?

They do. I think basically all isolates taste pretty bleh - this is due to its stripped down nature. But chocolate, by virtue of having cocoa as well as being the most common flavor probably, is the safest to try with anyone. It’s not like “pumpkin spice”, “birthday cake” etc designer flavors that vary wildly.

YMMV 🤷‍♂️

I use Revolution Nutrition but it's so good I question if it's real. I will get Ghost or Ryze if they are on a good sale

Similar topic, I used to hate PES Select. My wife wanted some kind of fast/slow blend to stop using Quest chocolate (they tested highest for heavy metals). She did NOT like the PES Chocolate Cupcake, but I’ve been using it since it’s 1g carb and I’m doing cyclic keto for the moment.

It’s truly very good. Mixes and tastes WAY better than a decade ago, digests perfectly for me too (which surprised me). Probably going to buy more shortly it’s working so well for me.

Been using Mutant ISO for a few months now. Have only tried chocolate peanut butter and strawberry milkshake which in whole milk taste like a treat. My wife even enjoys the strawberry milkshake and she is very picky.

Depending on what artificial sweeteners they use, it tastes like soap to some people. I looked into back when I tried a brands Blueberry muffin protein, can’t remember the brand but it won the Protein wars on Stack3d years ago, so a lot of people forsure liked it, but to me it literally tasted like soap.

PES is pretty awesome, Peanut Butter cookie is one of my all time favorites.

I'll have to look into that! It's the only protein that ever tasted like soap to me. Kind of like how when some people have the "cilantro gene" where cilantro tastes like soap to them

lol yes! I’ve heard of that, from what I read it’s a Neanderthal gene trait or something. I personally love cilantro though and use an insane amount to garnish Mexican meals I make.

I think it may have a Dymatize cheapo/budget product, XT something perhaps, can’t remember the name but they were all extra sweet & a bit chalky - I really liked the Brownie & Blueberry Muffin flavors. Many people liked them, but there was something a little different about the flavoring for sure.

Might have to try that; peanut butter is always a great flavor in my book.

Good to know, I haven't honestly used or really revisited ever since PES sold from the original owners. That was probably 10 or so years ago? They pivoted to mainstream, changed up formulas for best selling products, and then stopped really engaging the original customer base & forums... but as long as quality is still there, I'd be open to returning to support them.

Perfect Sports Disel (isolate, stevia-sweetnened) tastes FANTASTIC, and they have many flavors to choose from. I just ordered the INspired protein off DPS to give it a try, because it's naturally sweetened and cheap. I hope the concentrate doesn't bother my stomach, though.
