Iran can keep playing games with the Strait of Hormuz, but really:
1) we have plenty of our own oil (its not like the 1970's anymore... remember gas rationing??)
2) they mined the Strait back in 1988, too... until Reagan blew up a few Iranian ships and oil platforms
3) if other countries really want ships to flow through, they can step up and do something about it
4) we can still hit Kharg island where Iran exports 90% of their oil, to crush their economy
5) WE could choose to shut down the Strait completely, and stop ALL Iranian exports if we wanted

Some level of boots on the ground is no surprise. If Iran will not give up their enriched uranium stockpile (and with enough pressure they still might) we will have to go in and take it when the time is right. Trump may also want to take and hold Kharg island with Marines to apply more pressure, instead of destroying it completely (which would hurt the Iranian people). Risky move, but he is calling the shots.

This Iran war will likely define the 47th Trump Presidency, good or bad, and he knows it. And he thinks the idea of an Iran without the Ayatollah pursuing a nuclear bomb and threatening its neighbors is a risk worth taking.

Why not take out Israel and the Zionists? They clearly are participating in genocide of their neighbors, infiltrate the US Government and are in illegal possession of weapons of mass destruction. Russia provides Iran with satellite intelligence and drone technology to help them identify American forces in the Middle East, and Trump has recently eased some Russian oil-related sanctions. Oil is globally priced. If it goes up in other parts of the world, it will rise in the U.S. too. I’ve read about a 20% increase on gas prices in some states since the conflict started, maybe you can confirm that?

Iran has already allowed ships carrying cargo not associated with the U.S. and its allies to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump started the war without consulting with his allies, and now he wants them to step up? If you throw a party at your house, do you expect your neighbors to clean it up?

I agree to a degree. It's funny but at the same time it's just dumb unless they are using it as a tactic to get the people to take the Ayatollah out because they don't play that crap over there.
