What's your favorite back workout

The Axe Man Cometh!!
Last few months I haven't felt like a got a good back workout. I switched over to mainly ISO lateral machines cause my new gym has tons of them but I just couldn't get that mind-muscle connection. I switched back to mostly cable pulley machines but just not feeling those anymore either. My back has shown some progress and gotten stronger but I miss that mind-muscle connection and mad lat pumps.

What do you guys do for your back and what is your favorite routine?

When I had access to machines, I loved the Hammer Strength low row. Right now I'm enjoying these exercises and can get a pretty good pump.

incline chest supported DB wide row
Meadows row (landmine row)
Reverse grip lat pulldowns
straight arm lat pulldowns (I use strength bands)

All of my back exercises are lower back friendly with my disc issue. Before my lower back got bad, I Ioved landmine t-bar rows. It's similar to the HS low row but I felt I could inflict more damage with it :)

I think that is one of my issues too. I can't put stress on my low back anymore. Bent over rows and pendley rows were some of my favorites. I forgot about teverse grip pulldowns those were always good for a huge pump

For me Close grip neutral pull downs. I get amazing contraction and stretch with these. My new gym has MAG grips and they really are amazing. Have gotten to try medium width neutral grip and small width underhand. Really wanting to try close grip neutral now.

Also underhand single arm dumbbell rows, since it’s 1 arm you a less lower back stress but you still may get some.

This gives me an idea. Gym I go to now has these too. Maybe I go with the classic two pull movements with two row movements using these just with varying grips. Always did love cable rows.
