    Do you put on muscle fairly easily? Are you naturally strong? If you're skinny fat I'd probably bulk first with clean foods and then diet down. If you put muscle on easily and are naturally strong (like me) I would lean out and then slowly up the calories/carbs to gain muscle.

    What about dill pickle juice? It is mostly watered down vinegar, albeit with a ton of salt and flavoring. I sip pickle juice on occasion.....YUM.

    P90x won't get you on stage BUT it is an awesome general program for the masses. If you follow the videos exactly it's a tough workout program.

    Natural animal fats (saturated) are NOT bad for you as long as you don't eat them with large amounts of carbs. Beef, bacon fat, coconut oil etc. will help you achieve ketosis quickly (1-3 days). I would shoot for 60-70% fats, 5-10% carbs and the rest from protein. I am also doing the CKD...

    He may be referring to contrast showers which is more along the line of 5 minutes of super cold water and then jumping in a hot shower for 5 minutes. The huge change in temperatures is supposed to flush the muscles and joints of toxins. I know they use them in the NFL and other professional...

    That is exactly what CF is. There are heavy days for strength and then there are "met-con" days for endurance and conditioning. Unless you are genetically pre-disposed to you will NOT get huge doing CF but you WILL build functional muscle and with the proper diet get ripped.

    I Crossfit exclusively and I take BCAA's Dymatize Whey Omega/RX fish oil and pre-workout either Xpand or methyl mass.
