    Just as kanakafarian mentioned. Think of it as when the needle goes in, you're making a hole in the skin through to the muscle... They line up. Moving the skin about 1" to 1.5" before you inject. Then, when you withdraw, the skin slides back and the holes no longer line up... Gear stays inside...

    I should clarify... I always draw up with a 27g and just inject... Then simply dispose on it.

    At my age, I stick with 25g... Either 3/4" to 1".
