  1. nutritional beliefs you formerly held

No, a bodybuilder knows how to build muscle on his frame through observation and experimentation in the real world. Science attempts to explain why and how. You're putting the cart before the horse. In your dichotomy we are comparing an experienced doctor to a med student.
  2. nutritional beliefs you formerly held

I enjoy theory and hypotheses as much as the next guy. But I would pick the doctor with the most successful track record of treating whichever cancer I had over one who had a filing cabinet of book reports.
  3. nutritional beliefs you formerly held

I think the concern is that most studies available for bodybuilding related discussion include insufficient sample size, there is no control for variables that affect muscle growth outside of the testing stimuli (muscle fiber make up, training age, hormone profile et cetera) so you really aren't...
  4. nutritional beliefs you formerly held

drinking a shake immediately after lifting NO boosters (late 90's) I still eat five times a day though. And have cottage cheese before going to bed and not eating for 8 hours. In good fun I'm going to leave this IIFYM video here too: Invalid Link Removed
  5. What is your favorite cheat meal?

This changes often for me but I've recently been enjoying sliced brisket, jalapeno sausage, ribs (all prepared TX bbq style) yellow potato salad, cornbread stuffing, yeast rolls drowning in honey butter, jalapeno boracho beans, pecan pie and beer to wash it all down. Dirty Bastard's Wee Heavy...
  6. Erectile Dysfunction on Test only Cycle?

Didn't read all the replies but if you're not running an AI, you're bloated, you're dick does't work and you're gaining midsection fat your estradiol is high. Labs will tell you how high, and more importantly how you are responding to introduced AI doses, but you're definitely aromatizing...
  7. Add cals this week or not?

Keep in mind that weight training increases your metabolism for days after the fact. HIIT cardio will elevate your metabolism much longer than steady state as well. Both will frazzle your nervous system which can hinder recovery too. When you do cardio between lifting days you are spiking an...
  8. cardio while bulking

HIIT has always been a little over the top for my fried nervous system in the mix with an intense bulking training program.
  9. Training in the morning

I prefer to eat. I find I have much more energy during my workout.
  10. Missing a post workout meal once in a while???

You might die, OP. Be more responsible. Edit: I do believe in pre and post training protein intake, especially as I personally lift in the morning and a night of fasting has gone by. One missed meal here and there won't have any noticeable effect on your gains though.
  11. cardio while bulking

Cardio won't kill a bulk. Just out eat the calorie expenditure. I like LISS cardio when I'm bulking. Nothing wrong with keeping the ticker healthy and your body able to carry around the extra weight.
  12. Fast food

You'll get your macros for sure. As long as you're getting your veggies and less processed protein too a cheeseburger here and there won't kill you.
  13. Smoked Chicken

The secret is in the brine: I whole, young chicken (more tender) Brine: 1 gallon water 1 cup brown sugar (don't worry, most of the brine stays in the container, you won't be eating cake) 1/4 cup brown mustard 2 tbsp cayenne powder Half of a white onion, sliced 1 garlic clove crushed Stubbs...
  14. Weight loss advise for an old bald fat guy

I agree. Honestly if you're just getting back in to working out I wouldn't change your diet at all for a month or two. Adapt to the exercise then start swapping out processed, crappy foods for calorically similar but more nutrient dense items for a few more months and start cutting back from...
  15. Ultimate Sexual Weekend Stack?!?!?

A bottle of wine and some vagina should take care of every question in the OP.
