    I would quit smoking and eat more clean foods. Too many questions for such a simple cycle. Just sayin'.

    Try a pillow for stomach sleepers. It will put your neck at a more natural position and eliminate your pain. Or use your new massive bi's as pillows.

    Or try a heavy/light approach. Heavy deads, lighter squat then reverse it next time. Having back problems myself ,this has let me do both lifts only days apart with no worries.
  6. Can chin-ups be done with too wide a grip?

    Not a wider grip but a neutral grip may be good for a change of pace. I feel it for days with just my bw and pulling to my chest. To wide a grip tends to stress my shoulder.
