At this point, the joint is structurally sound. The injury was to the patellar tendon. Ortho said it would be stronger than before. Surgery was March of 08, so at this point, I am just dealing with muscular weakness.
Short version of the story - had knee injury, surgery, had to take year plus off of training legs after due to complications post surgery. Now, I am healthy and clear to really start pushing forward with regaining leg strength and athleticism.

Thanks for the info and am digging the log. I am coming off of an injury ( patellar tendon rupture - fluke thing, non AAS/PS related ) really need to focus on getting back to normal strength. Have any additional info on lifting programs/fundamentals specifically focused on building tendon...
Not to get too off topic, but given that imbalance between muscles and joints/tendons/ligaments, how do you go about getting the weak links as strong as the muscles?
