  2. need a lesson on SHBG

What is it that he knows? I would love to understand the correlations between normal T levels (with TRT) high E levels and low SHBG? The plan right now is a slightly lower T dose, 160 mgs/wk still with 250 IU HCG Day 5 & 6. He will see how this affects the levels in a month.
  3. need a lesson on SHBG

    thanks a lot JanSz.
  4. need a lesson on SHBG

Dr. John knows what's up. I was on 200 mg/wk, going to bring it down to 160 mg/wk to see how it affects the levels, and will do this for 1 month followd by more testing. So I'll wait and see. Yeah, I do all my testing at quest. Do you know the specific difference between BAT and Free T? Is...
  5. need a lesson on SHBG

SHBG, well I don't know too much about it. I know that sex hormones are bound to it, but, What is the best level of SHBG? How should a low SHBG and high estrogen level be percieved? I have a pretty extensive history of higher estrogen levels, and my Dr. says high E2 and low SHBG is indicative...
  6. Maybe a stupid question...needles and syringes

You can get the needles and syringes at a pharmacy with a script of course. I ran into a slight problem though with my local walgreens, they never had the pins I needed, they generally had slin pins in stock. They said they would order it for me, then they said it was not in stock. I just...
  7. Increased IGF-1 and Insulin Resistance/Sensitvity

What type if any effects does IGF-1 have on insulin resistance/sensitivity? Can an increase in IGF-1 have a negative/damaging effects on insulin levels? Have been taking Test and HGH (HRT) and my IGF-1 were very high over the limit while my GH levels were still on the low end. I know both of...

  9. Low Blood Glucose

Wow that sounds like where I am at right now. I would love to hear the rest of this story, and the exact protocol that was used to help ameliorate this, aside from the mental changes. I feel like estrogens are ruining my life, but it's hard to turn my head and not think about how my health has...
  10. Low Iron

I have been going through a similar situation, except my WBC's have been more elevated. My question is just what are the correlations between low iron and infection. How/why do these relate during infection? All of my results are in this thread. Invalid Link Removed
  11. Any studies on TRT effecting WBC's

I don't know? Maybe because he's not as sharp as he used to be? LOL This really doesn't make any sence now. He mentioned screening for a certain type of luekemia that does this to white blood cells, but I guess he tested clotting factors instead. For the last 2 months my iron has been in the...
  12. Any studies on TRT effecting WBC's

Just got my bloodwork faxed to me from the hematologist from last monday. Here are some results: Iron 58 (30-160) Ferritin 117 (30-400) *Iron % Sat. 20 (20-55%) TIBC 297 (228-428) Protime 11.4 (10.1-13) (6 sec) INR 1.00 (2.00-3.00) (normal for people not taking warfarin) P.T.T. 28.9...
  13. Any studies on TRT effecting WBC's

I have never heard of Florinef before.
  14. Any studies on TRT effecting WBC's

As far as my history of elevated E, it's not really documented, I just have had gyno since I was about 10 or 11 yrs old, and going by my bloodwork from Feb. Do you suggest I just go ahead and take this into my own hands as far as dosage or wait to consult with my endo (I see him Sept. 6)? He...
  15. Any studies on TRT effecting WBC's

I would have thought that too. Believe me I feel very alone in my medical endeavors, I am the only one fighting, my resources are no greater than a few discussion boards. I'm really begining to give up at this point.
