Yes, I think as more a permanent way to eat. ( carb cycling ), my bodytype tends to store fat easily when eating ( bread, pasta etc ). So at the very least card cycling to cutting out carbs completely on days
I'm thinking here on this...
- If I workout more, then I will eat more, which means I will have to burn off more calories.
- If I workout less, then I will eat less, which means I will have less calories to burn off.
- If I workout less AND restrict calories ( carbs ) I should be able to...
is it ok to have some honey ( 1 tbls ) in a cup of tea daily?
or will this hamper my cutting goals?
must I avoid every single ounce of 'sugar' ? ( if everything else in my diet is ok )
I had a thought, I wonder if its possible that for my phisiology, withholding carbs might be making my body store fat.
The idea is that the body thinks it needs to store extra in fat since the food easily convertable to energy is in short supply.
Thanks guys.... I've taken a couple of days off because my next workout will be chest and with already aching ( whatever ) in my shoulders I didn't want to make it worse. I don't think its anything major, it was just to be on the safe side.
When I mentioned 315, that was my 1rm.
So I figure I...
Well perhaps this IS really heavy for me?
I've never had that wirey strength.... always looked stronger than I was. I know that for years my posture was bad and that my shoulders slump forward....( probably relates to the bad back issue ) so it takes conscious effort to push my shoulders back...
Well, not really as my question more pertained to the feeling I was getting from doing deadlifts. And I was looking for feedback on deadlift workout frequency more than anything.
Though I do appreciate your suggestions... I do try and get people to watch my form in the gym, so far there have...
How did I not do this excercise when I was young?
Having a history of bad backs..... Anyway, started doing these about 3 months ago and I love them. My lower back is better now at 38 than when I was 18 !
So I did 315 last week, which isn't all that amazing.... and I thought I felt something...
OK, so I've been off dairy for a few days and I think its working.
Could be placebo.... but that soft look I had seems to be going away. I will try and keep this thread updated on my progress. Prob should take before after pics as well.
I think I do appear to be bloated / soft ( a combination of minor bloat along with fat on lower abs, obliques and lower back ) ... I noticed that in the mornings it was less so ( as I have done this morning ) but figured it was just a result of the fasted overnight state. I'm not overweight 5'9"...
There was a time when I fasted and generally ate very little for months. So I know for sure my calories were not the issue. ( and yet, still had this remaining belly and back fat ).
I'm gonna try dropping all dairy ( despite its muscle building properties ), find protein by other means and see...
I have a feeling that milk/dairy could be causing me problems in cutting. I use milk a lot in protein shakes, like cheese etc...
If this is true and I were to go off milk entirely .... how soon could I expect to see results in the mirror? 2 weeks?
I am trying to gauge how quickly one can gauge...
