I broke both collerbones, one playing football the other playing baseball. Within a month I was back to the point where I was working out again. Take the time you need to heal up that way you wont have any problems down the road.
If anything why not start out with 250 mg for a couple of week just to make sure you dont have any side effects, once you see that everythings ok than bump, it up to 500 mgs.

Have to agree with Crunch on this one, your livers already working hard enough when on AAS. Your better off going to the Dr and having it looked at by someone who knows what their doing when it comes to taking care of an abscess
