    ciprofloxacin and weight lifting

    Tendon rupture with ciprofloxacin is an extremely rare side effect - about 0.14% to 0.4% according to an NIH review (see non-link below). The risk is greater if you are also on corticosteroids (such as Prednisone). I wouldn't worry about it. 3dubyas.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2921747/
