I had a no joke case of it back in the day and had to get a few steroid (no test or tren; this was corticosteroid) shots and that helped big time. Topical is good, but see if there is something in shot form.
Real food cheats has to be a CPK pizza. As far as candy, tarty stuff like smarties and bottle caps. Luckily the good tart-style candy is harder to find than chocolate or else it would be harder to rein in the cheat meals.
I do bodyweight stuff all the time in crap hotels. Bench dips, pushups, incline pushups, etc...and you can do alot with those dumbbells as mentioned above; might have to go higher volume of course. Man I've had to use small sofas, coffee tables, and standing lamps in a pinch.

Back in the 90s I underestimated the importance of protein for building muscle, and obviously that was a mistake. In more recent years, as in 5 or 6 years ago, I didn't pay attention to sodium (wasn't protein, fats, or carbs so why bother?) which was a bad idea.
