About Me
I started lifting heavy weights at my husband's suggestion in February 2013. I enjoyed it for several months, then after a while I got into a routine and was viewing it from more of a maintenance standpoint, which is what I have typically always done with exercise. I stalled with the amount I was lifting yet continued the routine for some time, and just recently I stopped altogether (about 3 weeks ago). I joined this forum to receive tips and hopefully motivation, as our gym is in our basement and I haven't interacted with anyone else. I have always been a lone workout person, but I think it's time to seek out some folks who can give me guidance. At age 36 I know I need to become smarter and more focused about how I work out. And I know I need to have goals and really focus my efforts. Just getting started is the tough part, so that's why I'm here.
