i had my surgery in jan 2015. i just had my 6mo post op in aug 2015.
i feel great. do not have a varicocele anymore. there is sensitivity but it has gone down over the months and it isnt too bad. I can ride a bike for hour straight.

i do have a question.
i know about the healing ridge. it very very slowly going down under the incision. however it feels hard around the incision like 1inch radius circle in all directions.
is this normal?
finally, is it normal that the spermatic cord is supposed to be hard as well? below...
thank you. ill try not to worry about it. i do know my testicle is firmer and bigger. so that is good.
just worried because the surgeon did not do delivery of testis to get the gubernacular veins and external spermatic veins.

i did jog after two weeks as the surgeon said it is...
the problem is, they dilate with blood when standing and go away when lying down.
its not as bad as it was before surgery but its definitely not like the other side.
i think i still have some reflux, either he forgot some veins or the veins that pick up the slack dilated a bit and have some...
are your varicocele stil present.
i had the surgery 4 weeks ago. two weeks felt great and then i could feel it again.
so i believe different veins are bigger
any that has had open surgery (microscopic), are the veins completely gone as in not dilated? mine got better but now (4 weeks after surgery) i can feel the veins and they seem to dilate in shower and go down when i lay down.
i know for sure, that its not as bad as it was but it definitely is...
any one with embolization have pain down the road like people do with microsurgery?
also, i noticed i have a dragging ache when doing obliques on a roman chair ( sideways). anyone else have this

i basically have awareness from the varicocele when sitting down. i sometimes have to readjust because there is some little pain/discomfort from my testicle.
i get that everyday. it doesnt hurt bad at all but it reminds me of it everyday. i guess it could...

lots of people complain about testicle tenderness after surgery and wish they didnt have surgery.
i virtually have no pain right now before surgery and only get it about 2 days out of the month. have had it for only a year.
im worried ill be worse...
