There was an article in my newspaper about the same thing. And like all of you, I thought it was bullshit and had a hard time believing it. Damn the media, they never stop pissing me off.
It's a metabolite of the amino acid leucine. It's supposed to help prevent muscle breakdown but it doesn't do **** unless you use it really high doses.
