Stuck at 225. Added cardio and still stuck at 225. Need advice.

Look at the intensity of your training first and foremost. Remember the idea is to limit stress. If I have a client with any sort of metabolic adaptation the most cardio I’ll give is HIIT a few times a week. Understanding that’s not doable for you right now I’d simply look at how progressive...

Where your calories are at is really relative to a ton of different variables. The one thing to consider is how far exactly you have to go in terms of fat loss, and how many drops in calories might be necessary to get to that end goal.... does that make sense? If someone 225 starts their diet...

Once you’ve gotten better recovery, I’d look into a more efficient way of tracking cardio. Don’t just go for a walk. Go out to burn 300 calories 4x per week. Then progress that as necessary to create the adaptation you’re looking for. As the other poster mentioned. I wouldn’t touch calories, at...

I didn’t see this before I posted. Spot on with my thoughts Regardless of serms/sarms When we diet, train, cardio on top of the other daily stresses of life recovery can be compromised. Try looking into more active ways to recover your symphatic nervous system..... more sleep! Yoga, long...

How much cardio are you doing? 1 hour a day of walking, but how many times a week? How long did you diet on 1,700-1,800 calories? How often do you have re-feeds/cheat meal?

    Intermittent fasting?

Lol did I say you're wrong or did I say "I think it comes down to what constitutes "breaking a fast" for any one person" On AM people might think of some LG protocol. Real world lol not even close to what most would think of.

    Intermittent fasting?

I think it all depends on what constitutes breaking the fast. I just don't see any reason why someone would take it 50 calories worth of aminos.... it's a waste. No ones losing muscle that fast

    Intermittent fasting?

Yes! If you're going to fast get the benefit of fasted cardio (remember no amino! They'll break the fast). Just make sure you hit your protein requirements and you'll be good to go

    Intermittent fasting?

Look into AMPK (I'm not that smart). It's an enzyme that will give us most of the benefits from Fasting. AMPK will inhibit MPS which is where some confusion might come from but lean tissue catabolism takes a lot... I don't think fasting 16hr is going to cause any substantial loss in muscle given...

Sorry to hear this brother. Hoping the best for you both. [emoji1374]

    Intermittent fasting?

Are you going to fast daily? I've used IF for a little less than a year. Both off season and pre contest. I've never considered it much of a tool for fat-loss. I don't let the window of fasting effect my intake for the day. If I'm eating 3,200 kcal's and fasting 16hrs, it's no different then...

How many grams of protein do you take in on your carb refeed day?

Yeah... that's low! I mean.. I get it. In order for me to get super lean it's more a matter of how long I can go on just 50 grams of carbs a day before I see performance start to decline, and or my HRV going in the wrong direction. Like I said before, that could be a month or even 8 weeks...

How many grams of protein do you take in on your carb refeed day?

It's doubtful that most would get any significant benefit from this in terms of fat loss. At least if we're talking getting super lean! Who's to say anyone needs a re-feed once every 7 days? And even with a re-feed after 10-12-15 days it doesn't necessarily mean someone should eat 800g of carbs...

    Whey isolate

Why are you deciding to from fish and anything else you're currently eating to just whey? Track. Track everything you're consuming, and be mindful not to be overly obsessed with the protein source but rather your total number. Obviously you'll be getting plenty of different proteins from the...
