first you need to determine your BMR, figure out how many cals required for maintenance & eat a daily caloric surplus. Try to get a decent macor breakdown in your diet and a multi vitamin daily.

2500 cals doesn't seem like a lot. have you calculated your BMR correctly?
just be sure that you're consistently adding weight to the bar
cardio is good for heart health but isn't essential (even for cutting)
if you plan to do cardio, you have to account for the extra calorie expediture in your diet
